    everything was excellent tbh. the staff was super nice, self check in was easy, the bathrooms were excellent and always spotless. cleanliness in general was honestly perfect, everything felt very well taken care of. also great if you need to work, i had video calls using a normal voice, not loud, and it was totally fine. really good stay overall.

    The hotel is clean and the area is quite. It's near the Gojo Station. There is elevator (west side) of the track for your luggage if you are carrying a lot. We booked this room last minute with my kids, as our last option for our kyoto trip because almost of the hotels are fully booked. I was kind of scared at first for my kids but eventually turns fine..i saw other family too. Kyoto is Crowded especially if its near the tourist attractions or spots but this place is not. Walking 15-20 minutes from the hotel to Nishiki Market is tiring, if you are not use to walk alot. But there are some good resto and cafe and convenient store nearby. There is a bus area too near the hotel if you opt for public transpo going around the city. I can say the place is good for budget and if you are not in hurry or rush traveler you can stay here.
