Hotel Shelley e delle Palme, BW Signature Collection

Front desk staff were all very helpful. We first got there and got our room which was not cleaned, but we went back downstairs and let them know and they got us a different room right away. Actually turned out to be a blessing for us because the room we ended up in had a full ocean view which was absolutely stunning

This hotel is perfectly located in the center of a picturesque and charming town, making it an ideal base to explore the area. The property itself shows a bit of age but the rooms have been beautifully renovated. Everything feels clean and well cared for, offering a very pleasant stay. Parking is available just a short walk away, which is convenient given the town’s layout. The staff are warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with recommendations. A wonderful choice if you want both atmosphere and comfort.

The view to the bay is well worth it. The rooms are small The safety deposit box did not work and I asked the guy in that front desk to fix it he never came We asked the same person for pillows and he kept telling me that he was alone and he would get it done. He didn’t get those for hours. We have to go get him ourselves. That was the person during the day the person in the morning in the front desk, he was friendly The same as the staff for breakfast. Breakfast was good. Bathroom was updated.

There was not parking. We had to park at 15 minutes walk from me hotel. There was mold in the shower and hair on the floor in the room. The air conditioning did not cool the room at all.

Beautiful property, only bad thing they have no parking

Fantastic view low level of service. Booked 2 rooms each had an issue. I normally book the Byron up the street which was fully booked.

The front desk staff was incredibly unfriendly from the minute we stepped in the door. No introduction to the hotel facilities, no eye contact and would not give clarification when asked simple questions like, Where should we eat, things to do. When trying to catch a bus they weren’t willing to tell me how far or near what store. They just said it’s down the street. We were promised air conditioning and after talking to them called Hotel.com. Needless to say there was no air conditioning. We woke up late and all restaurants were closed for 5 hours. I took a pastry left out for breakfast and they told me I shouldn’t and charged me ten Euros. Every other place I stayed in Italy was friendly, helpful and wishing to make it an excellent stay. I can’t begin to recount the number of insulting interactions. BTW, although there website offers to get you a car to the train station, they said they had none and that there were no taxis. I cant believe this is part of Best Western. Shame on them for their unkindness. Obviously Hotel.com did not fix air conditioning issue for us.
