When we arrived we were unable to check in at the time, even though it was after 2pm. We were told to wait but not told how long to wait for. Room was OK but bathroom was unclean, black mold around the shower and no tissues in the dispenser. We have stayed before 2 years ago and had a much better experience but it seems to be going downhill unfortunately.

Situated close to the metro station which takes less than 15mins to the centre. Hotel is clean but basic. No kettle in room, and they charge for Nespresso in the lobby. Pool is ok, but no view.

The location of the hotel was great. 2 minutes away from a metro station. In a quiet area if preferred not to stay in the city center. By metro the city center is 5-10 mins away. Restaurants were also quite close. The room was very spacious and clean with all amenities

Very nice place, nice staff, foyer lovely, metro and bus convenient, 8 to 10 euros in a cab to the historic places. Shou attend to slippery floor in shower. Door hard to open in shower. On top floor noisy air-conditioning. Why not provide a few more coffee and tea? They cost nothing

Not 4 stars! While the staff was kind and apologetic, the hotel fell short. The beds are like pull-out beds with thin mattresses, the bathrooms are dated, and the entire place needs fresh paint and a thorough cleaning.

A cash money in my wallet was disappeared after the housekeeping services. Despite filli g a complaint, the hotel did nothing. They informed me that it is now their responsibility, if my belonging is not in the safe. They did not give the logs of my room or formal incident report. They were not helpful at all. The room was not clean, there war hair of other people at bathroom. The bed was not comfortable. Nothing was good. They wasted my business trip, did not help me at all about anything because I booked via hotels.com and they did not received direct money. This hotel can only be hostel not a 4 stars hotel.

I happened to experienced Storm Dana. After I checked out, my flight was canceled due to the storm, the road to the airport was blocked. I’d to go back to the hotel, but I was told by a lady reception the hotel was fully booked. No room was available. I was really disappointed since all the hotel in area was fully booked. And then a hotel guest noticed the conversation and telling me he’s cancelling his booking and going to Barcelona. And then a male reception (black curly hair) was very nice even send a staff to look for another already clean room for me for faster check in. I’m very thankful for those who help us in need. As the hotel room, it’s simple room but clean.

I've dpent one oh the most pleasant stay of my life in this hotel : delicious breakfast with lactose free and gluten free food, modern fitness room with fresh towels, water and appels. The waiter Xaver helped me book a ticket for a football match at a much lower price than for tourists, metro juste around the corner, fashion and sport outlet on the next street, excellent sleep in a completely quiet room, comfortable bed. Just one improvement : Wi-Fi in the rooms is weak, Wi-Fi at the reception is strong enough. Some lightly disabled peuple are employed there, which I appreciated a lot. Good idea 👌

We spent 3 nights at Illunion. Service was excellent and very efficient. Breakfast was very good. It’s very close to a metro station to get into the old town quickly. Our room was lovely and outside area is good. Only comment is that the pool area is on the small side but was fine for our stay. We would definitely stay here again!

Tricky review this. For one, the staff who checked us in, Saray, was absolutely fantastic. Incredibly polite, actually spoke to us as a person rather than just a guest and gave us a few tips to enjoy the city. The breakfast was brilliant, for €14 it was worth every cent, a great selection of savoury and sweet. The downstairs of the hotel was immaculate, the bar really good. But our room was horrible. I think because we checked in at 14:00 sharp our 'proper' room wasn't available, and so they gave us the first room they had available. We purchased food to take with us the following day and stored it in the fridge, but we realised the next day the fridge wasn't working so all that food was wasted in the heat of the room. There was a piece of wood which snagged my wifes dress. The toilet seat was incredibly loose and the tap in the basin almost fell off, and the bathroom just looked as if it had never received any maintenance since it was originally built. A real shame. I'd certainly recommend the hotel, the location is perfect, but I do think the rooms (or at least what we had) could do with some maintenance, especially with the splinter of wood and none functioning fridge.

I came to Valencia for a conference and this hotel is 15 minutes in a taxi from the airport and 5/10 minutes walk to the conference center so the location was great. Check in was good with a very friendly representative at the desk. The lobby and downstairs area was modern and tidy. The hotel food was nice and reasonably priced. Breakfast was a continental style and was ok. The room was a good size but very simple and didn’t match the modern look of the lobby. The bed was a good size but quite firm. One thing that I found very annoying is the fact there were no ironing facilities in the hotel other than having to pay via the laundry service. So last minute ironing for going out was not at all possible.
