We were two blocks from the Main Street, DuVal Street. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. There were many shops, restaurants, and bars close by. Children under fourteen were not allowed nor did I see any pets so I assume they were not allowed also. It was a quiet area except for the many sirens at night

The location is very good if you want to spend time on Duval St. There are several nice restaurants nearby. Our cottage was very nice but small. The only sitting area was outside.

Just returned from a fantastic experience for the six of us staying at the Marquesa Hotel for five nights. My wife and I are 80 and over the decades we've stayed at a lot of hotels. The Marquesa is among the Top 5. The beds are super comfortable -- the rooms are quiet and blessedly cool and comfortable with easy to use controls. The interior court yard with two swimming pools and fountains has extraordinary landscaping greenery, including a wall of orchids. The orchids are so perfect I first thought they were fake. But they are as real as rain. Most important -- the staff was the best you can ask for -- always available to help with a smile. Last, the location is ideal. We didn't need a car the entire time -- only used Uber to get from and back to the airport. I wish all of the hotels we've stayed at were half as nice as this one. Mike and Sandra

Immediately after we first entered the Marquesa Hotel, my fiancé and I started laughing at our sheer joy of the elegance, artistry, and superb joy of the Marquesa Hotel. The paintings, the furnishings, the lovely detail of the lobby was as welcoming as the staff, who immediately offered us a sangria for our arrival. We were led to a simply beautiful room which was also appointed with period furniture and great decor and an extremely comfortable pillow top queen bed. The inner courtyard was an enchanted getaway with two gorgeous pools and great plantings. The Marquesa is well-known in Key West for it's simle elegance. We shall return!

About 1/2 mile from Mallory Square and a block from Duval St. Only issue was a gate near our room that would bang as people went through in the morning but my room was on the same wall as the gate. Very easy access to restaurants on Duval but in quiet area. Easy walk to Truman White House. And to Sunset Pier. But no full length mirror to get ready for a wedding. We went to Ace Hardware and bought one.

Aldone was very helpful. Front and rear porches gave a pleasant relaxed atmosphere. No full length mirror to prepare for wedding events. So we bought one at Ace Hardware and left it in the room.
