Great place to stay

Great location, just a block and a half from Duval Street. The room was comfortable and the grounds were quiet at night. Breakfast was provided and was basic, but pretty good. The pool was warm and cleaned regularly. The cleaning staff showed up every day and fixed the room and provided clean towels. The place is not perfect but is great for us as we enjoy Old Town Key West.

We had a nice stay at this B&B and would stay here again.

We liked that our room was right by the pool and had an area for seating outside our room. We like that breakfast was served each morning. We liked that we could rent bikes through the property. The room was nice, cool and comfortable.

The proximity to Duval Street and area attractions.

Parking was extremely limited. Parked my car in the one handicap spot (I have a permit) and got a golf cart. During the stay, mopeds were regularly parked behind my vehicle not giving enough space to get out of the spot should I had to leave. Landscaping crew was there one day with pole saws and I watched them cutting foliage back right over a white Jeep. My vehicle, 3 spots down, was filthy from the landscaping work. I have a brand new vehicle (2 weeks old) and as we were leaving, I noticed a gouge in the outer tire wall of my rear passenger side tire. The side exposed to all passers by and landscaping crew. Not happy with that. Room had dozens of tiny roach like bugs that were not there during our initial stay. Pulled back the sheets the first night and there was long hair in the bedding. We were in room 107 and whomever was in the room directly above us, regularly stomped around from 11pm-1:30am every night of our stay. Very, very disappointed especially since this was our honeymoon trip.

Great location, and full of Old Town charm ✨

The room was huge, with tall ceilings, and wooden floors. I loved that there was a filtered ice machine and water machine right in front of our room, making it super easy to fill up my flask with water every morning before heading out. Breakfast was good, your usual staples, baked goods, fruit, eggs, sausage, coffee, juice. The property has 2 pools, but one of them was really dirty with bugs and leaves, we skipped that one. At the front desk, the person checking us was amazing. She gave us lots of discounted or free drink or vouchers that we could use at local bars.

The only negative I can say about the room is that the bathroom had no AC vent or ventilation, the windows were also bolted shut, so there was nowhere for the heat to escape, only into the bedroom. The bathtub was clogged, and the water kept pooling up to our ankles. That was pretty gross.

Fabulous short stay

The location is excellent, just a stones throw from Duval St. I also have to give special mention to the breakfast which was excellent and served one of the best sausages I've had outside of Ireland

Included breakfast was nice especially as a family traveling. Property is beautifully landscaped. Location is very convenient for walking. Pool options were nice for quick dips

A true Key West experience!

We loved the older rooms that are across the street from the office. I didn’t think to request a first floor room and the staircase was long, but they accommodated us by giving us a 1st floor room for 2 of our nights based on their availability. It gave us a different experience each night.

The rooms are a bit musty, but in hot, humid conditions, it’s almost expected.

Our greeting from Marie was outstanding and made us feel welcomed. Our accommodation had everything we needed including a very comfortable bed and large bathroom and shower. Great location with all the spots we wanted to hit located in easy walking distance.

Had a lovely experience here. They were very accommodating, breakfast poolside was a nice perk. Our room opened right to the pool and patio area, which was great for my partner with mobility issues.

Pleasurable stay in Key West

Excellent location to Duval St along with a grocery store and Chinese food restaurant within a 3-minute walk. Duval Street is a 5 minute walk.

Wish the television could be placed in a better viewing position. Toilet paper holder was difficult to reach. New shower and sink faucets would be nice touch.

This is the 4th time we have stayed at the Ambrosia so we really enjoy the facility. I was especially please to get upgraded to a suite this last trip.

The only complaint was about the streaming tv in the bedroom.

Great place to stay in key west!

Close to the things we were doing. We felt safe.

Didn’t have a kitchen. Quiets hours go way too late into the morning. Like during breakfast hours you still had to be quiet until 9am. Bikes should be much cheaper or included in stay like most other resorts.

Great location and staff, but some issues

The location is excellent and the person checking us in was friendly and knowledgeable and was able to give us good recommendations, particularly for local vegetarian options.

Staying in the poolside with a couple in the room above us, the floorboards were very creaky, meaning that whenever they moved around, it was loud in our room. In the room itself, the bathroom door didn't close properly and the shower didn't shut off entirely. I also found a cockroach in the morning of check out in the middle of the floor (pictured).

My wife and I enjoyed our stay, all the music and the beach.

The location was central and walkable to all but the beach. We enjoyed the pool area for breakfast, reading and just stretching out when not walking around town or being at the beach.

The mattress could be more comfortable but was not bad.
