We came to Key West for a couple of days and it fit our need.

Great location in the middle of Duval Street. Close to hop on , hop off trolly locations. Walking distance to many restaurants and bars. Room was clean and quiet. Hotel seemed liked it was recently renovated. Around .8 mile walk from Key West Express ferry drop off location.

Wish I could give this place a better rating. For what I paid per night I expected much more.

Good location but that meant noisy at night in our room. Free parking.

Didn’t feel very clean. Older building with slanted floors. Wood floor in our room was dirty, after showering I walked a couple times across the floor and my feet were black on the bottoms, we were on the third floor, so it wasn’t street dirt. I’ve stayed in much nicer places for a whole lot less money but not in Key West.

If I go to Key West again, for sure I would stay at the Pegasus.

Perfectly located and it included free parking—a must in this crowded town. A number of the reviews I read complained about the noise ( pretty minimal considering the location—bring a sound machine if you are bothered). A number also complained about front desk staff: I found everyone to be gracious and helpful and could not understand what people were complaining about.

It was a great location! Located walking distance to all the bars shops and restaurants. It had a nice pool area with balcony overlooking all the fun!

Altogether we were satisfied, but most probably wouldn’t stay again.

The location is great and what is a big plus, even though we were facing Duval street, it wasn’t as loud as I thought it was gonna be. Free parking is available just down the street, which is really comfortable in downtown Key West. The overnight lady was really nice. Another plus is the bike rental - $15 for a day and we could bring it back as late as we wanted to (as we left it in a bike locker at the parking lot).

Communication with the reception was a nightmare - out of the 8 times I called them, they only answered once and even then they weren’t helpful. The breakfast is more like a snack, but at least it’s free (def wouldn’t pay for it!). Knives are not available, so you can chose if you want to spread the cream cheese with a spoon or a fork :D during our stay they didn’t really care about refilling the station and when trying to ask for something, no one was at the reception, so we just looked in the drawers and refilled the missing things ourselves. There is a nice rooftop terrace where you could have your breakfast, however, the cushions were wet every single morning - so you better enjoy damp clothes if you want to have your breakfast outside.

We’d stay here again.

Central location on the corner of Duvall Street. Walking distance to everything. Parking was included which was a short distance 100 meters from the hotel. We parked the car and never needed again. The hotel has been upgraded with hard surface flooring, no carpet, upgraded tile in the bathroom. The room was a large corner room which overlooked two streets. Beach towels were provided and on the bed upon arrival. Breakfast included fresh OJ, fresh Florida oranges, boiled eggs, toastable varieties of bread, bagels, French toast, waffles, yogurt, and coffee or tea. Each floor had dispensable water to refill your own. The staff was very friendly and quick to help. The fire alarm was chirping when we checked in our room. We reported the issue, went to park the car, and by the time we returned the battery in the alarm was already replaced for us. Great. The pool is small but the decks are large for this location.

Perhaps larger curtains for darkening the room at night. Otherwise bring eye mask if you are sensitive to light. The air conditioning was set at 70 and does not go colder. It was cool enough for us.

Very nice hotel, with extremely convenient parking (a real plus by Key West standards). It’s located right on Duval Street, with everything within walking distance. The location is truly perfect. The rooftop pool is also beautiful, with sun loungers and a view over Duval Street.

Surely from a location perspective this is a great choice

Right in the heart of Key West on Duvall Street literally the center surrounded by more shops and restaurants than you could ever try. The price is reflective of the convenience. Also, the rooftop is pretty cool lots of places to lounge and a pool.

My only complaint is the size of the bathroom. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen one smaller.

Not much for your money

Very disappointed. The location was great but there is no place to unpack anything. Only a cabinet, no drawers. No vanity in the bathroom to put anything. One lady at the desk was not friendly at all. She seemed very disgruntled. No place to leave luggage after checking out til time to go to the airport. Got clean towels daily but no coffee. Daily breakfast was the same only dry bagels and muffins. Milk was warm.No cream for the coffee. Location was the best part

The location right off Duval Street is amazing! Room was clean, comfortable. This turned out to be the lowest price room I could find in the Keys and was so happy it was available.

If I had to say something, the bathroom fan comes on when you turn the light on! Lol…. It’s a bit loud if you’re not wanting to wake up someone else at night to use the bathroom… but this SO minor.

+Only location is good here! We traveld all around states, and we visited half of Europe. What we had here, we never saw it in the past. +Parking is 1 minute by walk, it is nice, only the problem is that the trees on the parking will mess up the car and you will need good car wash after that, but that is something that it is not their fault. + Really good AC and fridge. Pool we didn’t use so we can share opinion. -The Lady at the front desk(Mika) was the most unpolite person I met that works in hospitality. Wihtout saying, good evening welcome to our hotel. Whenever we aksed something she was rude and unpolite. I get that someone has bad day, but this was too much! When we wanted a bottle of champagne, she said you had to request it earlier so we can order it! YOU CANNOT ORDER AND KEEP IT IN THE FRIDGE IF SOMEONE WANTS IT!!???

-At the end we had to pay parking IN CASH. Really!!?? The lady said the owner Does not want to pay taxes and that is why it is in cash? We left our cash for the last day to buy a picture from the street artist, and we had to use that cash for additional parking that we needed. Even they saw we are really not satisfied they could say, hey the parking for the rest of the day is free, as other hotels do something when they do bad service. The room was having dirty bathroom and hair on pillow? And what we could do, to go and argue downstars? We just clean what we had to and stayed without saying any word because the Mika was so rude all the time so we didn’t know what we could expect…. - DIRTHY BATHROOM, HAIR ON BED

Great Stay Great Hotel

Absolutely the best location for going to restaurants, live music, right on Duval St parking free and perfect , receptionist was wonderful we stayed an extra night and Chara was very accomidating, letting us change rooms with no hassle also we arrived early and was called when our room was ready which worked great. Rooms were updated bed compfy pool area very nice would def stay there again when going to Key West.
