Really enjoyed the dinner and the barman went out of his way to make me a cocktail that was not on the drinks menu. But special thanks to the staff who found and then posted my reading glasses to me.
The only downside was that access to the leisure centre is not direct from the hotel building and it was very icy on the day I was there, so I didn’t feel safe in walking the 100 yards or so, and it had been something that I’d really been looking forward to.

Room clean. Towels thick, white and fluffy.
Staff really nice and food in the Kailyard restaurant was excellent. Only downside was there was a problem with the heating so we were cold for the first 24 hours, but small heaters everywhere and engineers dealt with it

No fault of the hotel but when booked with Hotels.commit was booked as a Hilton. Apparently it has changed ownership and we were never informed by hotels.com which resulted in confusion when trying to look up the hotel on navigation
