A really lovely hotel and we couldn't fault the superior room we stayed in. Staff were friendly and keen to help, breakfast was cooked to order and was delicious. Lovely bar area and off course Pecks restaurant now on site - which was the reason for our stay at the hotel (Dinner at Eight). The only slight disappointment was that the website indicated there would be a band on from 6-8pm on the night we stayed but we were told they haven't been booked for January. It didn't spoil our stay though, it just would have been the icing on the cake!

Breakfast menu was very good with a large variety of choice. Unfortunately very understaffed. Only one young man, taking breakfast orders and running the reception for people checking out.

Lovely hotel, clean and comfortable. A little expensive but generally worth the money. Excellent food and polite helpful service. Couple of things let it down, coffee machine in room not working and TV remote did not work until switched out batteries in remote.

The staff were very attentive and helpful. The menu was a bit limited but the cooking was good. Little Morton Hall and Jodrell Bank are both nearby. We were in the annex (room 22) which was a bit on the small side with no chair though the decor was fine and the room well serviced.

All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Limited menu but the food was freshly cooked and good. Good breakfast menu again freshly cooked. Well placed for visits to Jodrell Bank and Little Moreton Hall. A good wifi connection which was free to use.

Negatives: The key card would not work on my room. They provided me either a key in the end. The room was very stuffy. It needs airing more regularly. It was a room over the bar and so it was noisy. They provided earplugs in the room...so that was a bit of a clue! The cooked breakfast was lukewarm. Positives: The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was good.

On arrival nobody on reception, but Hotel busy doing Sunday Lunch. When we found somebody we were shown to our room, which we were not keen on, as no window, just skylight. So we were shown 2 other rooms and chose room 3. Exceptionally clean. Asked about food for an evening meal, but nothing was made clear as to what we could get to eat or when, just told plenty of places to eat out and about. Nobody about next morning at breakfast had to search again for staff,definitely a lack of staff. No orange juice had to ask for some, this happened on 2 occasions. Breakfast ok. Key stopped working, found somebody to re set it,still did not work, so cleaner offered to get it sorted. Cleaners were exceptional. Very efficient and polite. After staying for 4 nights, we checked out, but nobody asked us at anytime about our stay. Nobody was interested, we requested a telephone number as we left, in case there was a problem with the car parking, as the gentleman that did it for us said, if we got a problem, when we got home to ring, but we were told to ring the number on the website, when I explained that we tried that to book the hotel and we had no option to speak with anybody, just book online. Only small niggles, but for the price of our stay, would have liked to have felt a bit like a valued Customer and had anybody asked us about our stay, we could have given them the chance to respond, instead of having to write this review.

Overall a really nice place to stay, it’s a bit of a maze getting to the rooms, could be because I was tired. The Rio Was lovely, as was breakfast but the coffee machine find t work properly (nightmare for me) and the hairdryer with really poor. May seem insignificant to some but important to me.

We had a bit of trouble finding anyone when we arrived so stood like lemons at the bar for ages waiting for someone. At breakfast there was one poor person trying to do everything and the only tables free had dirty dishes on from the previous guests. The evening meal in the bar area was fairly nice but not amazing. My pie was lukewarm rather than hot but the vegetables were really nicely cooked. The taster menu in the restaurant at the back was really good and nice that you could take your own drinks. The room we had was beautiful and felt really luxurious but it was a shame there was a really strong smell of drains! We mentioned it and was told the drains had been clogged so they had recently cleared them and the smell was gradually going but it did linger for the whole of our stay. The street outside was quite noisy when the windows were open but it was really quiet once we shut them at night. The beds were very very comfortable and we slept really well. The location is great for visiting the potteries, Trentham Gardens, Jodrell Bank.... so there is plenty to do in the area

Lovely hotel. Stayed in a luxury room; fitted the description. Well appointed room, modern, comfortable, large bathroom with his & hers sinks, and open walk in shower. Exceptionally comfortable bed. Breakfast was absolutely perfection. Excellent hotel, would definitely return if I was in the area.

Nice hotel with good rooms. Evening meal ok. Breakfast service is still very poor with nothing being ready for the advertised 7am service start. Why it tales until 7.10 to put fresh milk out is a mystery. When there on business, with a bisy day ahead you want to start the day quickly and for 2 years this hasnt been possible. If don't need an early breakfast it is fine

Fab hotel. Great room and very comfortable. Bit clunky on checkout with no NatWest compatibility but that’s neither here nor there as it was sorted. Breakfast service was steady away but we weren’t in a rush and everyone literally came down at once so again, understandable so no negatives.

However service on both morning for breakfast was very slow waiting over 45 mins for our food (wasn’t busy either) on the 2nd day there was no fruit juice available or any continental food out to eat whilst waiting for our cooked breakfast. Other than the service at Breakfast time, hotel was first class. We had a two day stay, first morning at breakfast had to ask for sugar, orange juice was coloured water & wasn’t asked if we wanted toast (later found out toaster was provided). Today second day all tables had been used but not cleared & we had a 45 minute wait to be asked what we wanted for breakfast. No sugar on table had to take off other table, no salt in container on table had to take off other table, only apple juice was provided no other option. More staff was needed for the breakfast time. The meal itself was very nice.

Anyone with dodgy knees should take care when staying at this hotel. There are a LOT of stairs involved in getting to some of the bedrooms and I didn't find any flat routes even to the rooms the far side of the car park archway. I would ask for a much closer room if I had known in advance. Otherwise, we had a pleasant stay

The hotel was great value for money and extremely comfortable. The atmosphere on entering the property for the first time was brilliant and this was mainly due to the staff’s attentiveness and superb service !! We will definitely advise our friends to book in here if in the area !!
