Would I return- maybe yes due to the proximity to the town - I’d just request a ground floor room - it would have to be
Loved the bar and restaurant area - the staff were friendly and helpful the downstairs bar and restaurant is really modern - was very busy being valentines when we went so most tables reserved understandably
The receptions in the middle of a busy bar - and the staff are trying run the restaurant and bar as well as reception- obviously difficult in busy times - The steps and stairs - in hindsight we should of requested a ground floor room, the rooms were wonky - tv wasn’t straight on the wall - dated furniture and I’m not a fan of the coffee machine, no instructions of how to use it either - no chair in room so you have to sit on the bed - albeit if one of wants to watch tv and other wants to snooze gets annoying- the room was clean overall

The value for money was exceptionally good! The room was absolutely stunning with a very comfortable bed. Chocolates, a variety of hot drinks and milk available in the room. The food in the restaurant was lovely and breakfast was one of the very best I’ve had!! Overall it was excellent! I will definitely be going back!

Great little hotel - couldn’t fault it - exceeded expectations
Really beautiful boutique hotel Every room had gorgeous decor with a very warm feeling to it Staff were great, bedroom was great and comfy bed and wonderful shower!! Oh and the breakfast was great too!

NIce hotel but could be run better
The staff were friendly, the room was clean, very traditional room which was lovely
When we arrived there was an awful smell possibly from the drains when we flushed the toilet and used the basin. This smell lingered our whole stay. On the second night the beds were not made up from the previous night and there was no heating put on in our room the whole night - it was absolutely freezing all night. The breakfasts were very slow and we were waiting an awfully long time for our food (around an hour). We couldnt get into the hotel on the second night around 8pm, as they had no reception and the doors into the front of the hotel had been locked, fortunately after wandering around the outside of the hotel we managed to push open a side door obviously used for the staff (near the bar area) and woke the night watch man who opened the doors for my wife, it was near freezing outside. There really should have been some notification as to what to do if the doors of the hotel get locked. Would not stay again.
