Room was clean , breakfast was good check in was quick. Our only issues were the lift ( was aware of ) having to carry suitcase up 3 flights of stairs, and noisy neighbours banging doors which is not hotels fault..

A clean and welcoming hotel. Clean and spacious twin room and bathroom. Easy onsite parking. Breakfast included in the stay. Have stayed in various Holiday Inn Express, never let me down, always very good service from the staff. A special thank you to polite and courteous staff Chelsea at reception for helping me tremendously in booking our room, when I was let down by a nearby hotel who had messed up my reservation.

Another no issue 2 night stayover at the Hillton, staff all nce and chatty, appeared to enjoy there employment. Down side of my stay, was noisy central heating system being based in room 232, it my be that area is where it recirculates for that floor? Stayover again next time I am in the area next year.

The room was tidy and clean but not really spacious enough for 1 adult and 3 teenage boys. We knew we would have to bunk down in the double bed and the sofa bed for one night but the sofa bed was thin , uncomfortable and quite small for two teen boys . Also the air conditioning unit was loud and very temperamental often to hot or to cold and was right next to the bed so poured cold air onto us and the noise kept us awake a lot of the time

We really enjoyed our stay, the room was really clean, the staff in arrival were very welcoming and knowledgeable and we had a great night’s sleep. Breakfast was also really good.

Convenient hotel for transport as located alongside the M5 Easy/free/ ample parking Half Penny Barn pub directly next door, but returned to hotel restaurant as only one staff member behind bar and a queue of people waiting to order drinks and food Room was ok, typical HIE, noisy air-con unit whether switched on or off which was irritating. Clean though, and USB charging socket by bed which was good. Ok for business stays

Solid HIE hotel, good location for links by M6 Unfortunately it's one of the old school HIE and needs some refurb/updating Bar/restaurant area was uninviting, but luckily there is a decent pub next door Rooms are ok but in need of TLC and updating: Cracked tiles in bathroom Worn carpets No sockets anywhere near the bed for phone charging

Breakfast was poor, staff limited. The trays of food all empty and this was at 8am, had to wait for refills and the queue was growing with customers wanting breakfast.

This Holiday Inn is exactly as you would expect. Basic but adequate rooms with everything you need. Ironing board and kettle in room but no fridge. On a main road with lots of options for food nearby but no on site restaurant for anything other than breakfast. A lot of road noise, particularly ambulances throughout the night.
