Great location, winter stay house was warm and inviting, loads of hot water for showers.
Small kitchen, very limited on preparation space and cooking utensils, seen the house caters for 10, 4 double beds and 2 single. This is not reflected in the common areas.

We enjoyed the location, fantastic kitchen, big pans, and top of the line stove. Lots of well-placed hooks for hanging wet outdoor gear, that was so appreciated. Loved that each room had its own bathroom.
The kettle was a bit difficult to pour from.

The location of Callart View is excellent with spectacular views out to the Loch. Easy reach to Ben Nevis for our walk. Having an ensuite in each room works well with groups of friends.
Kitchen is a bit on the small side, especially with the doors opening into the kitchen. If someone is cooking, it's a bit tight for others to be in the kitchen helping out. Need some better wine glasses ;-)
Dining room lighting is a bit harsh so we took a couple of bedside lights from a couple of the rooms to soften the light.

The location was spectacular and the view from the property was exceptional.
We had no keys during the stay so had to lock the door internally and use the window for access. The property was certainly not clean. There was a childs sock in one of the beds, The oven and dishwasher were dirty, with an unwashed frying pan in the washer, cobwebs in the bathroom. We found a used tissue on one of the sofas and there was a lack of hand soap in the dispensers. The towels were not fresh or very tired. The mattresses in all the beds were uncomfortable, you could feel the springs when you laid down. There was no vacuum cleaner. Finally the garden was so overgrown that the property photos on the website didn't look like it at all.
Oh, and every indoor plant, bar one, was dead.
