Very pleasant and quiet place located in the farmland with a very kind and hostess Florence.

Very nice breakfast and opportunity to have a long conversation with other guests. Should like this in order to enjoy this place as it is quite small but also very personal. Extremely nice and attentive young dog, Vanille, comes with the place, very social and playful. Our hostess Florence made all she could so that we would feel welcome and told us the background story of how the small farm got its name from D Day parachutists (possibly 82:nd Airborne). Very quiet area with three parking places right up front. Classic Normandy hedges along the roads, ten minutes drive from Sainte-Mere Eglise (for history buffs). Day after visited Utah and Omaha beaches, if you are into modern history it is worthwhile reading up on Antony Beevor's book on D Day. Which raises questions about strategy and tactics, really. Can strongly recommend this place for a stay in the area.
