Friendly and comfy, but prefer to stay where dogs are not permitted

Perfect location, nice host, comfy bed. Didn’t like sitting next to other guests dogs in the breakfast room while they constantly whined and begged for food.

Dog friendly even in the breakfast room - there should be limits. We don’t all fawn over dogs !!

We loved our room, our breakfast, the location and the kindness of our host.

Our host ,Claude, could not have done more for us. He made special arrangements for our later than expected arrival and helped us to find a charging point for our car . Breakfast was very tasty. The property is very centrally locate in the beautiful historic town.

Great value place to stay in lively and historic St Mere Eglise.

The location was excellent very central in the town on the main square. The room was spacious and the shower was very good. The breakfast was good and very well organised with the host always present to help the guests.

There was a bicycle rack outside which was very helpful. It would have been ideal to be under cover as it rained overnight but we realise that is not always possible.

We booked online and Wasn’t informed it was a B&B , dirty no soaps, my laptop computer was bigger than the tv , the second bathroom was screwed shut , beds uncomfortably - its was so horrible we tried to look for another hotel but nothing in the area! There was no parking only in the paid car parking in the square , then next morning we woke to find a van blocked in !

WWII memorial stay.

This hotel has a lot of WWII memorabilia in it, that's what I like best. Hotel was right next to the main church and airborne mesuem. It is right in the middle of everything in St.Mere. We arrived later than we wanted but the owner was still there waiting for us with a smile (on a Saturday night) and was very friendly.

The church bell may wake you up in the morning.

Location adjacent to the church in town centre. Several bars, cafes and restaurants close by. The bedroom had an unpleasant odour, like blocked drains. Breakfast very basic. However the hosts were friendly.

Spent the night at St Mere Eglise and stayed that the B & B. Nice place, shower and bathroom area is kinda small. Breakfast was very good too. Not too much to do in the town, if you want to do more I would stay at Bayeux.

My room was facing the city square and the square lights did not shut off till around 11 PM at night.

Lovely accommodation in a fantastic location.

fantastic location beside the church. Great breakfast too. The lady who runs it has no English, but she is an expert with her little hand-held translator! She was amazingly helpful. The rooms are very comfortable, and the little restaurants in town are great for dinner.

nothing really. You can't check in before 6pm, but there is a really good pub 30m from the hotel to wait it out with a good glass of wine.

Great price for 2 rooms; good location facing cathedral!

The location was EXCELLENT. Literally right across from the cathedral with cute windows and great view. Our family of four needed 2 rooms, with one having great windows looking out on the cathedral, and the other one floor up (with no view, but still ok). The 2 rooms together were still well within our budget!

The bathroom had no shampoo nor conditioner (the conditioner issue was all over France, but most hotels did have shampoo). Also the property had many signs forbidding food or drink in your room! We did not have breakfast because we needed to leave at 7am and the employee kinda scoffed at our early departure time saying breakfast wasn't served that early. Another annoyance was that we were given keys to lock the front door every time we left (or returned, having to lock it from the inside). It was quite tricky to get it to lock property and a lot of anxiety and time was spent trying to lock it!
