Wonderful hotel for touring D Day locations.

Beautifully renovated house converted to a bed and breakfast. Very friendly host and hostess. Beautifully furnished and comfortable rooms. Great continental breakfast that includes eggs to order. Ample private, secured parking. Easy walk to the central square with shops and restaurants. Perfect location for touring the Utah Beach D Day sites. Highly recommended. Would stay here again.

A perfect Guesthouse for WWll enthusiasts

The Guesthouse was in a good location and with free onsite parking. The building itself is beautiful and inside is excellently decorated with a Wartime feel, with numerous if not all items being authentic 1940’s decoration. Everything was very clean and comfortable and the French breakfast was tasty and filling. The Owners are extremely friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and nice. The price was good also. An excellent stay, especially for Wartime enthusiasts visiting what is very much a famous 1940’s Town in the heart of Normandy. We loved everything, thank you so much Valentine 44.

Lovely B&B but remember to shhhhh

Good location. Parking directly outside. Beautiful room and bathroom, comfortable bed. Plentiful and tasty breakfast.

Did not like having to leave shoes outside the room (was as if they didn't trust you not to wear them in the room after requesting that you don't). Also did not like getting a knock on the door at 11.18pm to ask to be quite when did not have television on and were just in bed talking to each other. These two points aside, it is a really nice B&B but personally it did not make me want to return.

A great value. Well located. Great, clean rooms, beds and baths.

We found the location to be very close to everything in town. Everything was just a minute or two from our room. Our room had the best beds and the breakfast exceeded our expectations. The owners were extremely attentive and friendly.

Disclose the history of your home! I strongly recommend sharing the photo history (during the war) in some fashion (perhaps several framed prints along the stairwell?).

Location was great, and the host were very friendly.

The Wi-Fi was a little spotty, and the bed was a true double bed, and a bit small for us. Also, we needed the room to be a little bit warmer and the heat was controlled by the host. The breakfast was a basic, continental, which was adequate, but nothing very memorable. The host spoke only a little English, and it was sometimes a bit hard to communicate.

Lovely stay with amazing hosts

The hosts are super friendly and helpful, they recommend you all the restaurants, bars and things to see and the accomodation is perfect. Sainte Mère Eglise is a very tiny town but very well located. The breakfast they offer is very complete and is homemade. We strongly recommend this accomodation.

Het zijn super aardige mensen die echt voor je klaar staan. Ze kunnen je alles vertellen over D Day. Ook de kamers en de ontbijtkamer is ingericht alsof je in de tijd terug gaat . Ook is het super maar dan ook echt super schoon

Bellissima casa dove risiedono anche i proprietari, in un carinissimo paese nel pieno della zona dello sbarco Americano. Camera bella, bagno pulito e ampio. Proprietari molto gentili. Colazione con prodotti tipici e freschi, davvero buonissima! Super consigliato!

D-day stay in 2025.

Ontvangst was zeer hartelijk door de gastvrouw. Het huis was bijna een museum. Oude Radio, Telefoon, foto’s van D-Day. In de ontbijtruimte was er er een originele jurk, gemaakt van parachutestof. De gastvrouw wist veel over die periode en verwees naar verschillende herdenkingspunten, die niet in de reisgidsen staan. Een vrouw die met passie over D-day kon vertellen. Het ontbijt was zeer goed. Ook alle faciliteiten waren aanwezig. De kamer was zeer proper. De wagen stond veilig geparkeerd op de privé parking. Dit was een echte b&b. Echt een aanrader!

Esperienza da fare per chi ama la Storia e la Normandia

Abbiamo soggiornato una notte per visitare la cittadina e il museo Airborne. L’accoglienza è stata calorosa e ci hanno fatto vivere una bellissima esperienza di scambio e conoscenza reciproca . La loro passione per la storia ha incontrato la nostra curiosità e favorito un piacevole scambio di informazioni. È sembrato di tornare indietro ai tempi dello sbarco. Sui servizi non mi soffermo perché sono stati eccellenti. I padroni di casa ci hanno preparato un ottima cena con un sottofondo musicale anni 40 parlandoci delle vicende belliche che hanno riguardato la zona. Solo una aggiunta su camera e bagno puliti e spaziosi.

Il troppo poco tempo perché avremmo voluto fare almeno un’ altra notte .

Excellent séjour

Super décoration de la chambre et de la maison, nous avons adoré. Endroit très propre et bien situé. Le couple qui tient le gîte est hyper sympathique et très avenant. Aux petits soins pour nous. Petits déjeuners chaque jour différent avec divers choix de yaourt, boissons et autres pâtisseries. D'excellents conseils pour les visites. Nous avons découvert des endroits que nous n'aurions jamais fait sans les informations de Monsieur. Nous avons adoré notre séjour chez Valentine 44 et remercions ce gentil couple pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse. Je recommande.
