- location - near the Utah beach and small centre with two restaurants - owners are very nice, friendly and hospitable - despite that, we don't speak French and they don't speak English, we managed to communicate. It was a lot of fun - everything was clean

Exceptional

Perfect place to stay not only for DDay Anniversary festivities, but in general. The hosts were extremely kind and we had no problem communicating via Google Translator. The house is an easy walk to the center of Sainte Marie du Mont, a short drive to Sainte Mere Eglise, and a great place to start a Normandy WWII tour heading east up the coast to Caen starting with Utah Beach. I'll definitely come back if I'm fortunate enough to come back to Normandy.

I couldn’t fault the property. I had to cut my stay short unexpectedly . Also I was not there during the day. So in that short time I had no problems at all with the property.

Lovely comfortable modern home. We had the upstairs bedroom, bathroom and sitting area all to ourselves. The owners are very accommodating and will try to do anything to help.

There wasn't a kettle or coffee maker in the room as advertised but the hostess was very willing to make drinks for us.

Superb place to stay

The location was brilliant. We were very central and it was very easy to get to anywhere we needed. The view was amazing and it's a beautiful new build house with excellent insulation and decorated beautifully and tastefully. The shower was superb with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Everything was perfectly clean and there was hand sanitizer available along with extra covid safety measures which made us feel very comfortable. As I have already said, the bedding was excellent quality with a comfortable modern mattress. We were given a key to the property which made us feel very comfortable coming and going as we pleased which was much appreciated. The owners were just lovely people, they had moderately limited English as is standard in the area but they were extremely patient with our novice French and misunderstanding what they meant! They had a tablet which helped a lot with communication & we even managed a little chat about the Loch Ness Monster! Genuinely nice people who were so welcoming and helpful. They made our stay feel very special and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone looking in the area.

Without wanting to complain because the people were absolutely lovely and I don't want to pick holes in their home or business - The bed seemed a little short - my partner couldn't stretch his legs out fully. The pillows were a strange shape so it was difficult to get comfortable. However the bedding was lovely quality with a nice weight of duvet. Having a kettle would have been fantastic so we could make ourselves a cup of tea or coffee. I would like to emphasize that these are all very minor points and overall we absolutely loved our stay.

Ci è piaciuto semplicemente... Tutto ! I proprietari sono incantevoli, ci hanno suggerito dove comprare della birra artigianale e come fare al meglio la visita di questa parte della Normandia. Abbiamo conversato a colazione come se fossimo dei vecchi amici (io parlo francese).

Ein kleines Paradies für einen gelungenen Aufenthalt in Saint Marie du Mont!

Ein schönes Zimmer mit Bad, Toilette und Aufenthaltsbereich im oberen Teil des ruhig und im Grünen gelegenen Hauses mit tollem Gartenblick am Dorfrand. Die Gastgeber:innen waren zauberhaft, die Atmosphäre familiär und freundlich. Es gab ein großartiges Frühstück!!!

L'accueil le sourire la propreté le calme et l'environnement. Un petit déjeuner copieux et varié. Des gens très accueillants répondant aux questions connaissant parfaitement la région ceci dans le but de nous indiquer les endroits à visiter. Nous y retournerons très certainement. Rapport qualité prix de notre séjour très bien

Lekker ontbijt, erg aardige gastheer en gastvrouw. Er is een aparte zitruimte voor de gasten, maar die is in dezelfde ruimte als waar de gastheer en gastvrouw zich bevinden, maar dan op de vide (de trap op).

Kamer is mooi. Bed is OK, maar niet geschikt voor mensen van 1.90 meter of langer.
