Seaside Serenity Villa

Spacious, nice outdoor space, sunny pool area

The Villa was lovely, well presented and clean. It’s a fare walk to the old town and the marina but Ubers are cheap. We did walk a few times to each and the walk is pleasant.

The pool needs a little maintenance as there were quite a few small tiles missing but it was clean and adequate. The only thing I really didn’t like is the pool maintenance guy turned up one day out the blue to clean the pool.. we could of been topples or even naked (not that we were) but a heads up would of been nice.

The villa is very spacious and in a nice, quiet area. It is a 10 minute walk to the marina and 15 minutes to Old Town. Two of the bedrooms are in the basement, which worked well for us as it provided a bit of separation between families.

Some of the mattresses were hard and uncomfortable. Not enough seating in the lounge.

The villa is a decent sized villa, in a quiet little area, not too far from the marina, Old Town or little local mini supermarket. However the management experience left a lot to be desired and people staying should be aware of this going in. Outlined these below and did try to raise with owners after the stay but was ignored

-Check in very poor experience. Left on the kerbside for a long time (90mins) in 35⁰ heat with children and elderly whilst the cleaning took longer time was Security deposit not disclosed on booking and was not returned in the 14 days cited as being their SLA - A lot was broken in the villa. This included the basement/downstairs family room shower which wasn't connected to the wall. Meant that 4 of the people.stauing all had to go 2 floors up every time they wanted a shower, not a premium experience. All breakages were reported. Only the shower was asked about then shrugged off as "a shower you have to hold in your hand" - try that with younfger kids! - Security mishmash with no explanations (inc downstairs shutters not locking). The issue with that being as that room did not had aircon, only plug in small fans it was very very hot in arrival and because we couldn't open the windows/shutters with the locks on safely it meant it couldn't be aired out and took over 2 of the days in the stay to drop to an acceptable temperature - Upstairs shower cubicle not big either, therefore only the master bedroom had the one nice bathroom and shower - There was no kind of handover - just the key code. Therefore a lot of things not clear like which key was which, whether there was a working alarm, when the pool filter came on, etc. We had to work out as much as we could ourselves, but some things we never worked out
