About this villa rental
A large, luxurious house full of charm, with predominantly white furnishings and decoration designed by an architect, based on the theme of the sea.
Almost every room in the house has a sea view.
The layout:
5 bedrooms (3 of which are en suite, the other 2 also have their own private bathroom) + a 6th small bedroom with 2 bunk beds. 3 bedrooms with patio doors open onto the garden + 1 bedroom upstairs opens onto a large terrace and the 5th bedroom, with the adjoining small bedroom, opens onto a patio. Each bedroom has its own bathroom (5 bathrooms) - (sleeps 12) + 2 baby cots (please ask us so that they can be made available and prepared).
Large fully-equipped kitchen with bar, living room, boudoir with fireplace, dining room (sleeps 12), patio.
Covered terrace with long table for 12 people, architectural barbecue extended by a herb garden. Plot of 1500m2, decorated with palm trees, oleanders, bougainvilleas, cypresses and fig trees, large saltwater swimming pool, heated and lit, croquet set for 4 people, children's toys, rackets. Outdoor shower with hot and cold water.
Lounge - rooftop (open air) on the roof, accessed from the garden via an external staircase inserted into the architecture of the house, with partially equipped kitchen + plancha, a bar, living room with sofas, armchairs and occasional tables, large dining table and raised bed 2mx2m. It can also be accessed via the Masterbedroom.
The paved entrance courtyard is entered via a gate equipped with a remote control, and can accommodate around ten cars.
As the house can accommodate 5 couples with 2 children, each bedroom is allocated a set of keys for access to the house, as well as a remote control for the gate, allowing everyone to come and go as they please.
Access, house, garden and swimming pool (heated and salt water) were completely renovated during the first half of 2015. As a result, all the equipment in this house is new and state-of-the-art.

We traveled to Villa Marina as a group of 10 (5 couples). We found it to be exactly as per the online description - beautifully laid out, tastefully decorated, fantastically well equipped and spotlessly clean. The ambience of the villa is lovey making it easy to relax and enjoy the stay. Several touches marked it out from previous holidays - from embroidered towels to the kitchen cupboards overflowing with all the plates, cups, glasses and cooking equipment you could ever need. We made good use of the pool, which provided some respite from the exceptionally hot weather that Portugal was having. We also used the croquet set and pool inflatables which were considerately provided by the hosts. Positionally, the villa is far enough away from the busy streets of Albuferia whilst close enough to the beach and some very decent restaurants (Il Botha in particular). And although there was some building work happening in the area it was largely unobtrusive and certainly not an issue for us.Overall our party were unanimous that the villa itself had added to our enjoyment of our holiday and time we’d spent in The Algarve.

Helena’s Vila Marina is a great place to stay!
The house is even better than its pictures; comfortable, elegant, and so spotless!
It was very well equipped and perfectly suited for our group of 4 couples that love to cook, bbq, and hang out. The kitchen was so spacious that everyone who wanted to could get involved. We really appreciated the extra fridge and the extra freezer.
Helena answered all of our questions very quickly. Her videos made the operation of the various elements of the house very clear. She also made many helpful suggestions that improved our stay. She scheduled the midweek housekeeping around our activities. There was even a set of keys for each bedroom.
We all had a great week exploring the Algarve.

perfect 4 generational stay. pool and the upper and lower decks are well thought out for family meals, sunsets, breakfasts…naps. trily perfect for us and the hosts were incredible.
