Great location in walking distance of city centre amenities with friendly hosts.

The room and bathroom was clean and the hosts friendly. We were very happy that we were allowed to keep the car on the drive even after we should have checked out which was really helpful and kind. The area was quiet overnight and the house warm.

Location was very run down and there was a lot of rubbish and bottles, an armchair and lots of broken glass in the immediate vicinity, and we weren’t very happy walking back at midnight, but there didn’t seem to be anyone around and nobody was causing any trouble. We were worried the car might be broken into even on the drive but it was fine too. It made things a little awkward that we couldn’t communicate with the hosts in English very easily and had to email their son every time we had a question, and the bedroom was too hot overnight. The pillows and mattress could have been softer as they were a little hard.

Friendly and Clean but quite difficult if you are want to self cater.

Great location, about half mile to 1 mile from Birmingham center. The hosts very nice. Very clean and fresh.

Two of the rooms up two flights of quite steep stairs. The shared living room and kitchen is also shared with the hosts. Not enough room for a potential of 8 persons.

Sweet little room in clean house minutes from Utilita

The host was very accommodating and very sweet. She went above and beyond to make our stay comfotable. . She even walked with us to the main Rd to give us directions to the Utilita. Can't fault her attentiveness. Her home was very clean.

The bed wasn't the most comfortable. Also we were on the 1st floor and could hear every footstep and creak from the room above. It really was quite loud and kept us awake.

Budget friendly stay, but mind the scetchy neighbourhood at night

Good sized room, very friendly hosts. The shard bathroom was available when we needed it so that's nice. Good warm shower! Did not use the common space but looked nice.

The area was not safe to walk alone at night. Some scetchy dude following us when we left at 20u (dark outside). After a 10 minute walk you come into the busy area with bars where it's safer, but I would not recommend walking there alone as a women at night. Be mindfull. The bed was pretty hard (not ideal with back issues). The other guests staying on the same floor were pretty loud so we could hear them talk untill pretty late.

Fabulous

We were greeted by the owners , {Celia and Spencer} , who were so welcoming and friendly and we were immediately shown to our room , {they assisted with our cases} . The room was spotless , nicely appointed , warm and comfortable . Anyone staying here is free to use the kitchen facilities or even the lounge if required . There is a shared bathroom but this is not an issue and the bathroom was also spotlessly clean with toiletries provided . There is also allocated car parking for two cars but this is on a first come first served basis . If the spaces are taken , the hosts will sort a parking permit for you . Celia and Spencer are wonderful people and the most accommodating , helpful hosts - their son Angus also helps with admin and communication and is also very polite and quick to respond to any queries/questions you may have . The location of the property is perfect if you are attending an event at the Utilita Arena and is , literally , about 5 minutes walk away . This accommodation is fantastic value for money compared to hotels in the area and we would definitely highly recommend it . It will be our choice should we go to another concert at the arena . For us , there are no negative issues about our stay and we were so pleased to have found this option

A lovely cosy room and great bathroom creating a good base for Moseley Folk Festival

I loved that the whole house was immaculate and well loved and cared for. The staff were warm and welcoming and helpful. The shower was great and the projector screen and the remote control lights a nice touch of luxury. Tissues in the room (this is quite rare in our experience).

It was about a 25 min walk to Moor Street station where we got a bus to Moseley Folk Festival (about a 20 min journey). This made for a very long day from start to finish). The housing estate the property is located in is quite rundown (lots of rubbish) but we didn't notice any unsociable behaviour and felt safe walking back at the end of the festival. This of course is not the fault of the property owners

Nice homely stay, good location, be mindful it’s a home of a married couple living there as well.

It was a lovely home, but I didn’t realise when I booked, the parents lived there. Absolutely lovely couple n very accommodating bit of a language barrier though. But all in all a good place.

Super comfy, clean and the owners are amazing 🤍

The bed was very comfortable and we were next to the toilet. The owners were very kind and polite. We came home at 11:30 roughly and they let us in, no problems. Great value for money, I wish I could’ve taken the bed home with me. Such a great nights sleep, will defo book here again if I come back to Birmingham! ☺️

The hosts were very welcoming. It’s spotlessly clean modern and very comfortable.

The location wasn’t great for us as we had booked tickets for a concert at the NEC which was the other side of Birmingham a 30 minute drive through the centre to the other side of the city.

Lovely comfortable stay.

Great value for money. Room rent in a private house with owners.

It’s walking distance to the Arena. Clean and quiet place

It’s a room share property, so we understand we have to be mindful of people in other rooms, including owners. It was just disappointing that when we got back after 11pm, we couldn’t watch a documentary on Netflix, even though it was on the lowest volume.

Struttura composta da 4 camere, disposte sue due piani, ognuno con un bagno. Spazi in comune molto attrezzati e pulitissimi. Cortesia e disponibilità degli host impeccabili. Il centro è facilmente raggiungibile a piedi in circa 20 minuti. Comoda la possibilità di parcheggio gratuito.
