Great, modern place in wonderful location

The location is excellent for The Quay with a huge selection of restaurants. The park opposite is ideal for letting any dogs out quickly. Great decor, plenty of kitchen equipment and felt private and safe.

Little bit noisy with the apartment upstairs but it’s a bottom floor flat…it’s to be expected.

Comfortable stay great host let us stay a little later after we woke up late

Lots of character and brilliant quirky arty decor making it a memorable stay much more than big standard hotel style places

Few things we weren't keen on but overall a spacious, modern flat in a good location.

beautifully furnished, quirk design, modern, spacious and warm. good location close to the Quays - easy to walk to restaurants & shops plus there's a lovely park opposite

parking was nearby but in a very dark (at night) unlit 'off road' - not easy to see and I felt unsafe as a woman on my own walking in the dark. Lights would have helped. the flat would benefit from some some practical additions e.g. cleaning products, microwave dishes. you can hear every sound from the flat above...the 'neighbours' weren't particularly noisy, but sound really travelled. flat 2 is a basement flat so very dark. run as a business so lacks personal touch you get from a 'host'

Location and cleanliness

The noise levels in the flat above the basement were ridiculous with somebody tap dancing until the early hours. With creaking g and banging and water continually running. As nice as the bed was we had no sleep

Quirky apartment with small courtyard

This was a lovely property on the lower floor of a large period property (down 4 steps outside, then 2 steps after entering front door). Decorated in a quirky design which is tastefully done. Also had a lovely small partially covered courtyard. All the facilities that you need were available. Free parking is provided a short distance away, although we were able to stop outside property to unload/load car which was handy. Overall it was very comfortable and would stay in again when visiting family.

Good location although immediate area seems to be a little run down.Good facilities & ideal for base to explore.

Outside space looked uninviting with green mold on concrete. We were unable to gain access as the key in the door didn’t appear to work. Unable to watch terrestrial tv & had to use catch up perhaps this was us but couldn’t find any instructions

Spacious villa

The decor made this place feel like you were staying in a stately home. It is within easy walking distance to all the tourist spots and very close to the old docks eateries. Loved the bay window dining area.

The lighting is subdued in the living/kitchen area at night time, so not great for meal preparation and computer work.

One of the best accommodations we have stayed at, it made our Gloucester visit very memorable.

Unique and comfortable interior design, clean comfortable bedding and towels. Dog friendly, spacious and well appointed kitchen. Conveniently located opposite a park, with free parking close by.

Smell basement and tiny place and distance

Art and decoration was pretty. Many plant and good remodeling property

I did not realize this is basement unit and smell basement. ( Host pay attention to put air purifier and dehumidifier) It was humid, but no AC. Host did not reply about AC. Apartment is poor sound proof and hear all upstairs guests footsteps and voice until 3 am. Outside seagulls quacking frequently in whole night. Bathroom has no fan and shower has slow drainage. I paid total 3 nights. 2 nights at booking com and 1 nt at airbnb. Because the host refused to reschedule just after I booked first 2 night mistaken wrong date. I have to pay one more night. Area and street is littile distance from city center and cathedral and station. We have to use uber many times. Humid and smell basement. Unpleasant stay for me.

Sound proofing re upstairs flat was not the best but the lack of it was by no means intolerable. Despite having the access code for the internet and being able to connect to the network, there was no internet service on the network.

Great location, very spacious. Suitable for families.

Very spacious apartment, everything major in Gloucester was a 10-minute walk away, so we didn't need to move the car much at all. When the basement neighbours (same host BnB) were rude by playing loud music all night, the host was responsive and apologetic, dealing with the situation promptly. The park opposite was perfect for our young children and really quiet in the mornings. Bedrooms were spacious and well decorated. Kitchen was well equipped for meal preparation. One of the best accommodations we used on our whole trip.

Feedback given by us to host was that access to a dustpan and brush (or broom) would have been useful for between meal clean ups, rather than needing the vaccuum each time, and the washing machine needed a deep clean. The host was thankful for the feedback and eager to rectify those minor issues for future.

Wir haben den Parkplatz nicht auf Anhieb gefunden. Ein Beschreibung mit Foto wäre vielleicht hilfreich gewesen. Dann war aber alles perfekt!
