GL1 City Center & Docks - Parking - Sleeps up 6 ppl - Outside Space

Very disappointed we had no private car parking outside our accommodation. This was not made very clear when booking. We had to try and find a space on the main road to park up while we unloaded our belongings, this was on a meter, at very short term 20 minute intervals, at our own cost, once unpacked we needed to drive around the town to look for suitable parking for 2 nights with a road closure in place, bad weather and 2 children in tow. This ate into time and therfore it wasnt a smooth check in process. It was so annoying because outside the property there were carpark spaces for the other 13 flats (numerically labelled) but no carpark space for our flat (no 14). Once we checked in, we realised the 8x towells (4x bath towells and 4x hand towells) were all very damp and unsuitable to use that evening. We had to put them around radiators and on chairs and doors to dry them out. The hosts did respond suggesting the weather may have got them wet, but I dont think this its what happened because surely all bedding and towels would have been laundered and put into delivery bags. I think this was a mistake of the cleaning company and rushing to deliver them and simply not being dried properly. The host said they may be able to get fresh dry towels out the next morning, but I wasn't feeling very confident with that plus we weren't given a definite confirmation or even a time so decided to wait overnight for the towells to dry and shower in the morning. We needed to put the pillows near radiators to take the chill off them aswell. There was no hairdryer provided as it said on the list of facilities, so that held up our morning aswell because myself and my 2x daughters have long hair, again so annoying as this ate into our time again. All 4x single beds were very uncomfortable and you felt like you was on a water bed, they were shaky and constantly moving, I was concerned the 2 children would fall out..None of us had a decent sleep in 2 nights.

Aparentemente espaçoso, limpo e bonito. Fica bem localizado também.

Só existem camas de solteiro. Um quarto poderia ter uma cama de casal.
