A nice house, but in need of freshening up

It’s in a good, central location. Street parking was fairly easy (considering we had 3 cars - so 2 on the road). Beds were comfortable. Our Labrador also enjoyed it - plenty of space for him to wonder around and a really nice sized garden to play in. Several supermarkets and Gloucester city centre are within walking distance.

It’s quite run down and could do with fixing up & freshening up. 2 windows were broken (fixed shut) - which was very noticed in the recent heat, as the house was difficult to cool down. One of the blinds and one set of curtains were also broken. Sockets are in awkward places (not all sockets are close enough to bedside for charging phones etc.) Although the house fits 6 people, there isn’t enough seating for 6 adults. The living room only sits 5 and there’s only outdoor seating for 2, which is a real shame as we’d have loved to all sit outside in the evening. There’s a note in the welcome folder explaining that the shower drains slowly, but we didn’t have too much of a problem. The filters in the fridge need replacing (fridge kept flashing to notify). We didn’t receive the check in instructions automatically, I had to chase - but the management company were quite responsive. Also the parking space is really, really small (a tight squeeze for a Hyundai i10!). There’s also an unnecessary old gate post on the wall, which we clipped when reversing out and it knocked our wing mirror off…

Was in a good location

The furniture was really uncomfortable and the front room smelt damp . There was mould on the walls around the TV No dressing table or stool to do hair and makeup in the main bedroom

Location works well for us, size of house is great

We have stayed before and loved the house but in a few months people have obviously been very disrespectful of the house as there were burns in furniture, stains on carpet throughout upstairs and rips in downstairs flooring, such a shame as it was so nice! The lounge furniture is so uncomfortable.

it was very clean and tastefully decorated. The bathroom was lovely and there was a choice of shower or bath.

It was a long walk from the bedroom to the bathroom in the night, which was difficult for my elderly mother. A separate toilet would of been very helpful.

Disappointing

The car park is the worst ever, you have to find a car park on the street in front of the house which is very small. Dont stay if you have car. The only restroom is in the picture. Yes It is one toilet for our family 6 people.

When your working away you would like your home comforts and this accommodation exceeded that fab !!!!. Clean Tidy ,nice bedrooms, kitchen facilities, comfy lounge. Well maintained

Perfect family getaway home, comfy, relaxed and close to town!

The house was far beyond our expectations from the online photos. It had everything we needed for a super comfy and spacious stay in a lovely quiet area of Gloucester. The bathroom was added bonus - absolutely massive bath to relax in at the end of the day!

Superb

Lovely property, well equipped as is kitchen utensils,toilet,nice spacy rooms, good size garden. No parking but easy to park on the road. Allows our fur babies 😊 Well located as close to food shops and only 20 min walking from the quay/restaurants. And also good location to explore the Cotswolds

One of the rooms got hot and sunny reeeeeally early… the positive side everyone was up nice and early to enjoy the day 😊
