King's College London - Stamford Street Apartments

The location was great so close to the Underground and Southbank, an easy walk to restaurants and sightseeing. The breakfast was continental, with plenty of variety. A basic but comfortable room, clean and great for a couple of nights. It is a small space , a bed , bathroom and desk. Good value .

Breakfast was very good and the location was excellent. The staff were very helpful.

The bed was small but as it was a short stay it was ok.

Breakfast was advertised as being available from 8:30am to 10:30am. However, when we arrived at around 10:00am, all of the food had already been cleared away and packed up, so we didn’t manage to have any breakfast at all. The shower was extremely small, and the shower head was fixed rather than removable, which may make washing long hair difficult for some guests. On top of that, the shower drainage was poor and water flooded the bathroom floor during use. I’ve never seen such a small bathroom! There was also a mix-up with our booking, and we were given an attic room (when we weren’t supposed to). During the 30°C+ temperatures in London, the room became uncomfortably hot and difficult to stay in. I would definitely take all if this into account next time I’m booking a place.
