Peaceful Stay with Excellent Staff

My stay was lovely from start to finish. The hotel was clean, tidy, and very peaceful. The staff were top-notch and made me feel welcome throughout my stay. I truly appreciated the calm environment and excellent service. I would gladly stay here again.

Booking.com states that each room has its own TV, which is not accurate. There is only one shared TV for all rooms. I specifically booked this hotel because it indicated that each room had a TV, so this was disappointing. Although the staff explained that it was a mistake from Booking.com, I believe the information should be corrected to avoid misleading future guests

This house has a garden in front and back, has parking space both inside and on the street in front of the house, has a large kitchen and a large refrigerator plus a coffee machine and other functional appliances... a large shower with a large funnel, a very large TV and many channels, and in the double room there was a large and very spacious TV

In the house the central heating is set to one hour, I think it works one hour, it doesn't... but the quietness of the area, no noise, you sleep peacefully

What breakfast there was no breakfast and the house was a dump I told booking.com on email after email but they also blanked me I wanted a refund

Comfortable and great value for money

Really dog friendly. Lovely room and very spacious. I was a little confused when I first got to the property but the host is super helpful and if you need anything or have any questions you can call/text them.

its a bed for the price but don't expect much else

nice house with roomy kitchen and lounge area with large tv and virgin media and a good shower location was good for my travel plans and plenty of parking and nearby shops

no light in room contacted the host and expected a fix for the second night as but when i arrived back at the room the light was still not working also not sure about the choice of blue shag pile carpet throughout the upstairs and room as it held onto some bits on the floor. The bed was ok but noisy with any movement and the kitchen had dirty pots in it on first night i can only guess the place is also a HMO with some permanent occupants, there was tea and coffee making facility's as advertised but couldn't find any tea of coffee in the house so that was out

Below bare minimum expectations

I was taken aback by my initial visit, which led me to rebook the accommodation for a second stay. Unfortunately, this experience was disappointing. I had to reach out to the host for check-in instructions and room assignment; the response was delayed and unclear, stating only, “use the large room upstairs,” despite there being multiple rooms upstairs. Communication was notably poorer than before, but the primary concern was the cleanliness. The sheets were dirty, the room was unprepared( see pictures), and the bathroom was in an unacceptable state. The presence of existing tenants, who understandably do not cater to guests, necessitates that the host ensures the space is cleaned prior to guest arrivals, which was regrettably not done. Given this experience, I cannot recommend this accommodation. The only positive aspect was its proximity to my church conference venue, but despite this, I will not be booking again in the future.

absolute nightmare

Not alot people live in the house which made it uncomfortable

Owner was very rude and I couldn't get in for 2 hours which made me miss a meeting what I went there for was meant to stay for two nights and only stayed for one as I missed what I went there for plus people live there and was like walking into someone's home No lights out the front so at night very dangerous Never book there again very bad and stressful experience Would not recommend

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I NEED MY FEE REFUNDED

There is nothing to like about this house as no service was provided by the host. Infact the host was a ghost. Shouldn't be in business.

I paid a non refundable fee to stay in this house since 6th December 2024. I got there 47 days later, and the owner was a ghost. Not picking phone calls and not answering messages. I later got inside by the help of a lodger in there. No service was provided as the single room advertised was dirty, with used dirty beddings, no WiFi, nothing. This owner should not be in business at all, as this is what they do to everyone who books their place according to the lodger who did try to make me as best comfortable as possible. I had an important exam the next morning but got this horrible treatment. He message me the next day when I was done with my visit to apologise for not having his phone with him...but he got my non refundable booking fee 47 days earlier and had no plans for my stay obviously. I think I deserve to a refund of my money paid, and booking.com to delete this business from their website
