About this cabin rental
Welcome to our cozy Blowing Rock mountain chalet in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to Appalachian Ski Mountain. It's super-convenient to everything. Just minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway, downtown Blowing Rock, Tanger Outlet shopping, and Tweetsie Railroad (in the summer you can hear the "choo-choo" from the porch!) and also convenient to Boone (15 minutes drive), Grandfather Mountain, Julian Price Park, Moses Cone Park, Valle Crucis and lots more! It's a little more than an hour to drive to the Virginia Creeper bike trail.
No pets allowed due to allergies.
There are two bedrooms with super comfortable beds. Both bedrooms are on the lower level accessed via spiral staircase - see the photos of the spiral stair to make sure you're comfortable using it to get up and down, it may be difficult for small children or people with mobility challenges. Use the patio door in the master bedroom for an easier way to get luggage to the two bedrooms (the spiral stair can be a tight squeeze for suitcases).
You'll have the house to yourselves. There is a TV in the living room -- no cable, but you can access Netflix and Amazon Prime. In the summer, enjoy sitting out on the covered deck and hear the sound of the Tweetsie Railroad train in the distance. You'll be sure to see deer around dusk every night.
Linens are provided. The kitchen is full service with electric range/oven, full size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and some basic cooking ingredients.

This location was perfect for a mountain weekend getaway. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We loved the fireplace and the porch. We could hear the train having our morning coffee. Beds were comfy. Shower had good water pressure. There were a few board games and a PlayStation and Netflix. Location is convenient to town. Would recommend!

Description of property was explained well.
The chalet was clean - just around the ski mountain and close to blowing rock- the house was a bit on the humid side and couldn’t seem to get it cooled down but it was not unbearable- the weather seems to be warmer then usual as well. It is a nice lil place for a short stay-

We had a lovely weekend stay with my partner and another couple. The place was cute and cozy, in a serene wooded neighborhood on a slope. The patio was a highlight, perfect for evening relaxation.
The two bedrooms were delightful, each with its own unique charm. One room was light, bright, and cheerful, while the other had a sliding door and large windows with a view of the tree-covered slope. Both rooms had comfortable beds with fresh, plush bedding, which was lovely after a long day enjoying the mountains!
The location was also ideal—secluded enough to feel like a true retreat, yet close enough to everything we wanted to do. Overall, it was a wonderfully relaxing stay—quaint and simple, just what we needed.
