Turkey Trot- Light & Bright Blowing Rock Guest Suite - Close to All the Best

THE SPACE: Enjoy our beautiful, fun newly renovated guest suite atop a quiet mountain at one of the most convenient locations near Blowing Rock. Private entrance with flat, paved parking right beside the door gives you easy access. The suite is a large space with sleeping, lounging, and work areas. The alcove has a queen size bed, with a supportive, comfortable high end hybrid memory foam mattress on an adjustable bed base with luxury linens and USB charging outlets. Additional queen size 6" memory foam platform bed available upon request. Relax in the living area with board games, DVDs, or watch Netflix & Amazon on the 65" smart tv- you may also bring your credentials for other apps (no cable tv). The desk alcove provides working space if needed and the suite has dedicated high speed internet and its own HVAC/ heat & air conditioning, also has a 4-speed ceiling fan. The bathroom has a spa-like feeling with a low-threshold shower and walnut vanity. Cedar lined walk in closet with extra pillows & blankets. Outdoor ski rack provided in winter months. Please NOTE: We do have several chickens and a proud rooster on property. We do not allow pets of any kind. Park in the upper driveway (all the way around the front of the house) and enjoy flat, no stairs access directly to the studio door. Plenty of parking space for trailers or larger vehicles.

LOCATION: We are located in a very quiet, peaceful area on a state-maintained gravel road. We are tucked in among the trees surrounded by abundant wildlife- turkey, deer, songbirds- and starry nighttime skies. The Blue Ridge Parkway and many local hiking & biking trails are close by. The Middle Fork Greenway trail and Tweetsie Railroad are within walking distance, only minutes to Blue Deer Cookies, Birdie's Coffee, and Mystery Hill. 5 miles to downtown Blowing Rock, Tanger Outlets and Appalachian Ski Mountain, and 4 miles to Boone. 7-8 miles from two equestrian centers. Excellent restaurants abound nearby and we're happy to make recommendations.
Only 5 minutes from Boone, 30 minutes to Banner Elk, and 30 - 40 minutes from Sugar or Beech ski areas. We are 10 minutes from Appalachian State University and 30 minutes Lees McRae University.

AMENITIES: mini fridge with freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, selection of teas & coffee, cork screw, WIFI, night lights, some paper goods, board games, books & DVDs provided. In the cedar closet you'll find extra blankets, pillows, and iron & ironing board, hangers & luggage rack. Bathroom vanity houses a hair dryer, soaps and shampoos, plenty of tp and some cleaning supplies in case guests need them. Linens are cleaned using scent and dye free detergents and air filters are frequently changed- we are sensitive to those with allergies.
