The Rock - Charming Rustic Blowing Rock Mountain Cottage Located in Town in a Blowing Rock Country Club neighborhood but just one mile to the heart of Main Street with all the shops and restaurants! Since we live next door we have had most bookings come direct through contacts from the neighborhood or country club. The Rock just became available for the season of 2025 as our summer/fall tenants unfortunately had to cancel due to health reasons.
The home is 1,500 sq ft – all on one level with easy 2 step entry! Cozy up to the gorgeous Grandfather stone fireplace that is wood burning! 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, Large fully equipped kitchen and 2 dining areas. Rocking Chair covered front porch, and private back deck. Located directly across the street from the Blowing Rock golf course with direct cart path access through the course and to the country club! Level driveway and easy in & out location on paved city maintained roads in an upscale, easy walking, Blowing Rock neighborhood! Walk the historic main Street Walking Path to all the shops and restaurants. Just the right distance to walk off a meal! Beautiful new back deck and both level front and back yards. A quick drive to all the outdoor recreational activities and hiking trails in the area including; Appalachian Ski Mountain, Tweetsie Railroad, The Blue Ridge Parkway, Bass Lake, Price Lake, And Grandfather Mountain!

My husband and I had a great stay in the mountains! This home was very clean and exactly as described in the listing. We enjoyed the one level living, the large kitchen, the new back deck and loved the covered rocking chair front porch. It was equipped with everything we needed (gas grill, too!). The location was amazing and an easy walk to MANY wonderful restaurants and shops on Main Street in downtown Blowing Rock. The Blue Ridge Parkway and Price Lake are a very short drive and the house has a canoe which may be used.

The house was clean, homey and comfortable. We arrived with the fall foliage the views from the front porch were beautiful. The house is situated close to Main Street in Blowing Rock. It’s a short drive to Boone and AppState. The owner Tyler was quick to respond to our questions ~ a friendly individual. I am happy to highly recommend the home to families. We will return to this home.

We were in Blowing Rock to hike the nearby trails along the Blueridge Parkway. The house was conveniently located to access numerous great hiking trails. The house was very clean, cozy and comfortable. It had everything we needed for our stay. The neighborhood was very quiet and Tyler was a great host. We look forward to returning soon.

Wonderful cottage in a great Blowing Rock neighborhood. Clean, cozy and in a great location, just a couple of minutes from Main St in Blowing Rock. We especially enjoyed the rocking chairs on the front porch with the Blowing Rock Country Club golf course and beautiful views just across the street. Great place to anchor your Blowing Rock vacation!
