The hosts were the most beautiful people. We hadn’t given them an exact check in time, so they were apologetic as they were still placing fresh flowers in the apartment. This was a lovely touch. Easy to communicate with the daughter on WhatsApp. They brought us homemade breakfast in the morning with orange juice fresh from their garden. Location was outside the main town, so good to see another part of town as we had a car.

There was a bit of commotion on the street at night - firstly from barking wild dogs and then from an argument between people. The shower was in the toilet cubicle, so quite small. The sink part of the bathroom is open air.

La hospitalidad de Manel y su familia fue increíble, incluso antes de llegar nos ayudaron. Han sido sólo dos noches, pero nos hemos sentido en casa. Camas con mantas gustosas para protegernos del frío y ubicación ideal para moverte por Nuwara Eliya. También recomiendo el restaurante de su sobrino, Café Drizzle, en la misma ubicación. Comida rica, a buen precio y trato muy bueno.

1. La famille est extraordinaire, ils nous ont prepare un petit déjeuner gargantuesque. Mon fils avait de la fièvre et ils nous ont apporté un thé médicament aryuvédique qui l'a requinqué et le lendemain Manel et sa fille m'on accompagné pour aller acheter cette fameuse préparation . De plus, ils étaient super chaleureux et formidablement bienveillant! J'avais réservé un transport avec Pickme pour aller à Arugam bay et en discutant ils nous ont proposé une bien meilleure alternative bcp moins Cher . Pour ce qui est de l'appartement, il est très cosy on se croirait dans un chalet de montagne. Nous étions que 4 du coup on a utilisé qu'une chambre. Malheureusement nous somme resté qu'une nuit car dehors le temps était très pluvieux et froid et ils annoncaient cela pour plusieurs jours. Autrement nous serions resté avec grand plaisir pls nuits. Je vous remercie sincèrement pour l'hospitalité que vous nous avez offert !!🥰 PS : l'appartement est à 4 minutes du centre ville en tuktuk moins de frénésie et il y pls épiceries, boulangerie, et pleins de petits commerces à 2 min à pied.

Good location, next to a good restaurant. Owner is a nice and helpful person.

Photos of the accomodation look much better than reality. Cold at night, shower in the toilet only, extremely small bathroom. Kitchen not well-equipped.
