Keshiya Holiday Home

Stayed one night here with my wife and honestly wished we had booked longer. The place is cosy and very clean, and waking up to that view over the fields was the best part. Breakfast was really good and there was plenty of it. Jayantha is a lovely host, friendly from the first message and happy to help with anything. We came in our own car and he made sure we got in fine. Parking was no issue.

Nothing about the place itself. The last bit of road up is narrow, so just message the host your arrival time and try to get there before dark.

The hosts were very cordial, the place was as picturesque as it looked in the photos, and the views had my whole heart!! My only regret is only spending 1 day at this little slice of heaven, should have stayed for at least 2 days :"(

Really lovely home, with the owners living next door. The house is very comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was fantastic! The owner even gave us some strawberries from his garden to try, which was such a nice touch. We loved our time at Keshiya and would definitely recommend it.

The only downside was that one of us got stuck in the bathroom because the door wouldn’t open. Even the owner couldn’t fix it, so in the end she had to climb out through the window!

Keshiya holiday home is lovely! It’s just a short 10-15 min drive into town. But you can walk to lover’s leap and the Pekoe trail stage 22 end point from the Homestay - if you like to hike this place is for you! The room we stayed in was very clean, comfortable, updated and very spacious. We had a great view from our balcony as well as a comfortable bed. The host and his family were so welcoming and friendly. He greeted us with a wonderful gift to kick off our honeymoon of fresh flowers and strawberries from his garden. They also served us breakfast in our room every morning, which was a nice touch. We also did dinner with them one night and the food was delicious, we got to watch them make everything as well which was really fun.
