Nice setting, beautiful views and space. Host is very nice & helpul. We had a dinner cooked by him twice and it was the best food we had in Sri Lanka, better than fancy restaurants! Good location for hikes around.
In December it is 10*C at night in Nuwara and due to 100% humidity it feels very wet & cold. Houses are not heated so be aware nights are cold. For me it felt too cold.

The host is the most hospitable and friendly person you will ever meet. He helped us with our intinary and dropped us off at the city center and the train station. We really enjoyed the home cooked dinner. The apartment is very spacious. The wifi is good.
The apartment is huge, but not very cosy. It would help if it was a bit more decorated. The apartment is a bit far from the city center (or a restaurant), so you will need own transport or use a tuktuk.
