The Bungalow

Architecturally stunning! The communal areas provide great views in ANY weather (we had wind and rain but it didn’t matter!!) Our room was upgraded to lake view - THANK YOU. Lake view is worth it! The room was VERY clean, our first available hot shower, good save in rooms, our first access to TV (not needed but nice touch). Staff were INCREDIBLE. Breakfast included and it was really delicious and both Sri Lankan and western style offered. A Tuktuk was booked for us to go to dinner and booked to return. This made our visit really enjoyable and stress free and the restaurant recommendation was EXCELLENT. Great atmosphere, live music and wonderful food. THANK YOU. Really strong WiFi.

Need a Tuktuk to access restaurants and shops.

This place gives you an amazing view of Gregory lake. The hosts were so welcoming and very hospitable. The breakfast they provided was fantastic and they were very attentive. A lovely little place (only three rooms so quiet) with a great lounge area too.

Nothing - it's a little out of town but if you have a driver then it's no problem.

The property and the room was comfortable and had amazing lake views.

The host Sama is decent but language issues are there. He goofed up during the payment and charged us twice. We wasted sometime in convincing him and his owned to return us the money in cash LKR. The exchange rate they gave was higher.

The staff on site were both wonderfully kind and helpful. The view is great

The area is incredibly noisy. Our room had a spare bed that was very dirty - we didn’t use that bed but it made us question the cleanliness of the bed we did sleep in.
