The Galways Edge Homestay

Everything, the balcony, the view, the serenity, the clean bathroom, the soft blankets, the kind hosts, the beautiful fruit and veg garden they are growing. One of the best places we stayed in Sri Lanka. So peaceful. The hosts dont know much English, so i hope this can translate, we adored this stay.

Loved my stay here. You have your own entrance to the room upstairs, a balcony and warm blankets. It is quiet and you have a beautiful view over the garden and you can even see the city in the distance. The bed is big and comfortable. 15 minutes walk away from the town perfect if you need a quiet and comfortable place to stay. Would come again just to drink some tea on the balcony!

We were very happy with our 3 nights stay at Galways Edge homestay. Our room was right on top of the house which gave for beautiful views of the area. The room is delightful, comfortable with sheets and blanket which we needed early morning and clean bathroom. We had a lovely balcony with seats and table, a jug and tea bags for the perfect cuppa with a view. Our host is so thoughtful and kind. He made sure we were well orientated to the room and property; how to use the hot water shower and the outside house lights. My phone charger failed to work and he kindly lent me his powerbank. This was the perfect spot after walking the Pekoe Trail, quiet but close to town. Highly recommend 👍
