Terrace Hostel & Lounge Bar

The beds were comfy, and the location was the real highlight, you’re right in the middle of the main street, with everything within walking distance. It was easy to find, and they let me leave my bags before check-in, which I really appreciated. The breakfast was great, and it was served between 7:00 and 10:00 am, which was very convenient.

One time, an employee knocked only once. I said, “One second,” but he entered the room anyway to show it to other guests. Luckily, I was already dressed, but I don’t think a male employee should enter a women’s dorm like that. He didn’t seem to care at all. The bathroom didn’t seem very clean, even after it had been cleaned. There was also no soap in the bathroom. It wasn’t a big problem for me, but there was loud music until around 12 am, so it might be disturbing for light sleepers.

It’s in centre of the city. Very lively place lots of cafes bars and restaurants.

Too many people and only two bathrooms. Hot water issue all the time because of usage.

The main business is clearly the bar upstairs, not the hostel. Guest attention is practically nonexistent: despite contacting them in advance about my bus to Theth, I ended up waiting 7 hours, repeatedly going upstairs, and only managed to get the ticket at 10 p.m. (the bus was scheduled for 7). They had promised both me and other guests that it would be possible to have an early breakfast (normally served from 7 a.m.) and assured us (insistently saying “yeah, no worries, no worries”) a lady would be there starting at 6. However, when I left at 6:45, no one was present and all of us left without breakfast. I don’t think I’d stay again
