This custom 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath townhouse-style home was just remodeled in 2025 with new flooring, appliances and many updated furnishings. Just steps from Monterey Bay this home has fantastic views of the bay, sailboats, sea life and the Santa Cruz mountains beyond.
The 1,800 sq ft home is just minutes to downtown Pacific Grove, Cannery Row and the famous Monterey Bay Aquarium and a short drive to Carmel or Pebble Beach. A walking and bike path along the shoreline extends from Cannery Row to Lover’s Point, past the famed succulent carpet of pink blooms, around Pt. Pinos with its trademark lighthouse, all the way to Spanish Bay and world-famous Pebble Beach.
A charming wooden gate welcomes you to a brick pathway lined with ferns and trumpet vines that leads to the front door. Enter a vaulted foyer with a chandelier, a mirror and a wood chest.
The reverse floor plan takes full advantage of the bay views. Climb the stairs from the entryway and enter a spacious living room with rustic charm imparted by a vaulted beamed ceiling, gas fireplace with a carved wooden mirror over the mantle, a sofa and upholstered side chairs. There is a large flat-screen TV with cable service. Bay windows look out to the handsome neighboring homes, Monterey cypresses and the ocean.
The upper level kitchen and dining room feature tranquil views of white-capped waves on the bay and beyond to distant mountains. Enjoy cooking in the fully-equipped kitchen (remodeled in 2025) from which you may catch sight of an occasional whale or a pod of dolphins. Cooks will enjoy the gas stove, side-by-side stainless steel refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave. A long countertop divides the cooking and dining areas which allows the cook to serve diners without missing any of the fun.
The adjacent dining area has a long wooden table that seats up to 8 beneath a chandelier. Enjoy daylight views of Monterey Bay sea life while dining.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Bedroom #1 on the second-floor has a charming character with a wood-beamed ceiling, bronze Moroccan chandelier, king bed, a spacious walk-in closet and a view of the bay. The large terracotta and custom tiled bathroom with its walk-in shower, his-and-her sinks and a separate commode complete the suite.
Two bedrooms and a full bath are located on the lower level near the entrance of the home. Both feature rustic wrought-iron chandeliers, and comfortable mattresses and linens.
Bedroom #2, with a garden view, has a California king bed and a spacious walk-in closet.
Bedroom #3 has a bay view and a queen bed.
The lower level bathroom features a large step down tiled shower.
All three bedrooms have Smart TVs that are WiFi-enabled so guests can log into their own streaming subscriptions (no cable; guests should bring their own logins to access their subscription accounts like Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc.).
A dedicated laundry room is located on the lower level.
One-car, detached garage, a driveway for 1 additional car, as well as ample on-street parking.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome with pre-approval, an additional pet fee and a signed pet addendum.

The villa was quite nice and the view lovely.Both showers were gruesome in terms of the tiling and darkness of the space (even with modest lighting).I loved the skylight in the primary bathroom.The two steps going up to the primary bedroom and two steps going down to the primary bathroom are quite dangerous for us senior citizens. Despite the above thoughts, we had a wonderful stay at the villa and on the Monterey Peninsula.

House was right by the water and had wonderful views. We saw deer and sea otters from the balcony. Beds were comfortable, 2 downstairs and master upstairs. We felt comfortable and safe. Dishes, towels, and appliances were all as expected. We were very happy to stay and look forward to booking again soon!

We overall had a good stay. The townhouse is in a great location, very close to the beach and walkable to Cannery Row. Management is great and super responsive. The kitchen garbage disposal was broken during our stay and got replaced in the same day!The only downside is that the house is very dated, all fixtures are old, not enough charging outlets near the bed, some termite droppings near the fireplace, and the carpet feels like it's due for replacement.

Overall the the location of the property was great. The house was very clean, and layout/bedrooms were great. Very comfortable! However, we had some serious issues with the Kitchen sink getting backed up quite easily and would not unclog. It backed up into the dishwasher and smelled terrible. I reached out to the property management, left a detailed message with their after hours person, and didn't hear back until 2 days later when the maintenance person was at the door. At that point, and thanks to a plunger and draino (under the sink so clearly they know its an issue), the sink was semi fixed. I was very disappointed with their level of service and communication to fix the issue. The front door is also extremely hard to use and causes a lot of confusion. Other than those issues, the property is great.
