Perched like a ship atop the powdery white sands of the Asilomar Dunes, this beach house features luxe furnishings, a modern kitchen, a sheltered patio, and ocean views. Upstairs there's a master suite with a Cal King bed and a second guest room with a Queen; the lower floor has a third bedroom with two twins and a media room with a pull-out sofa. There are five flat panel TVs in the home. Asilomar Beach - at the gateway to Pebble Beach - offers some of the most stunning scenery on the California coast. Spend your days at the sheltered cove at the end of the street. Take long walks on the boardwalk. Play golf, visit the Aquarium, or surrender to the charms of Carmel. At close of day, head to Spanish Bay for a sunset libation. Then come home, light a fire, and fall asleep to the sounds of the surf. NOTE: This is a quiet residential neighborhood (no loud noise or events are permitted) in an environmentally sensitive area. The California Coastal Commission does not allow walking on the dunes, as plants can easily be damaged - but there is a great sandy beach just down the road for your enjoyment. Amazing views. Not ocean front, but very good views nevertheless. Short walk to one of the most beautiful coastlines in the state. Place was very well appointed. House felt luxurious and posh. Beautiful, quiet neighborhood with deer walking by and gorgeous sand dunes. Short drive to restaurants and stores. Amazing scenery up and down the coasts. Near the airport and iconic towns.As a fairly minor complaint, I do think the house could be in better maintenance condition. We were informed the drier was not functioning upon checking in. In addition, multiple screens in doors were either non-functional, or missing/leaning against the house. Also, a few lights had burned out bulbs or were non-functional. The primary bathroom had only luke warm water for showering. These details did impact my experience, with the lighting and inability to have a hot shower.

Wow factor definitely there....from walking in the door to the sunset views and non-stop wildlife on the property, our stay was magical. The well-appointed kitchen is fabulous with high-end appliances, great work space and gorgeous views with floor to ceiling windows. The master bedroom is equally as impressive! House was clean, well-stocked with linens, paper products and basic cooking necessities. Also, very convenient location for walking on the beach or driving into town. Would definitely stay again.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful beach house in Pacific Grove. The location is unbeatable, offering stunning ocean views just steps from the shoreline. The house itself is thoughtfully designed and exceptionally well maintained, with a well-equipped kitchen and high-quality appliances that made cooking a breeze. The staff was incredibly responsive and helpful—especially Kyle, who was quick to reply when we had a small issue with the blinds. Everything about the stay felt easy and enjoyable. We’ll definitely be renting this gem again!

Huge wow factor when you walk in. And then huge wow factor as you walk around. We’ve stayed in a lot of nice rentals and this blew them all away. It’s been a week later and I’m still thinking about it! The master bedroom is an absolute dream. From the insane views, to the super comfy bed, closet the size of a bedroom and luxury bath. The other bedrooms were amazing as well. Seriously the pictures look great but do not begin to do it justice. It’s a dream house. It was stocked with everything. You won’t run out of linens, towels, you name it. The kitchen and family room is - how many times can I say amazing? Location is incredible. 2-3 min and you are at Asilomar beach. Lots of otters and tide pools to explore. Great walking paths. And then there are the deer!!!! If you are animal lovers you will flip over all the deer! It is a very special house and experience. We would stay there again in a heartbeat - and hope to do so soon! Truly the very best!

As you can see by my summaries from above my family reallyenjoy the property. If I had one complaint the Wi-Fi in the master bedroom wasn’t very strong maybe a stronger router or a mesh system would work a little better.

My husband and I came to spend our anniversary together. The house was beautiful and plenty of space! We had to rearrange some things and were looking for suggestions on things in the area, for both we messaged through Vrbo and didn’t receive any response. I had to email directly the house manager. We would have liked a variety of pillow options (feather, firm, less fluffy) and we also thought the bed in the master was very firm. That is a preference so may not matter to others but it affected our quality of sleep. It was well stocked and in a great location. We enjoyed the easy drive to most areas. The master suite is beautiful, although the shower water didn’t get very hot and there was little water pressure. The WiFi didn’t reach well so you aren’t able to get much in the master or stream with the awesome tv in there due to the poor connection. For the price of the house it seems these things would be considered especially for those that require an internet connection. All that being said, if you are looking to relax, disconnect, enjoy wildlife and the beautiful coast of California then this is an amazing option. It’s good for a family with lots of room and bathrooms.

A very special and unique neighborhood at the amazing Asilomar Beach. This house offers stunning panoramic views. This house is so much better than the pictures. The kitchen is a cooks dream. The master bathroom is wonderful!! Pacific Ocean views from maybe every room. It is very clean and it was a relaxing enjoyable stay for our family of 5 for four nights. It is close to the aquarium, Pebble Beach and Carmel - so lots of great places in a short distance. Also, there is a beach right across the street. There were large mule deer that would come into the yard in the evenings and mornings which was wonderful. Maybe one of the best VRBO properties we have ever stayed in! Did not want to leave and will definitely rent again if we ever come back.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the house in Pacific Grove among the dunes. We were visited daily by deer, squirrels, rabbits, and birds in the front and back yards, and we enjoyed sitting out on the deck watching them. The other houses amog the dunes are spread out, so there is a sense of privacy on the deck. The beach was just one street over, viewed from the living room and bedroom as well as easily reached by a quick walk. The house was comfortable with great decor and very clean but could have used more lighting in the master bath, space heaters (due to delayed heating of concrete floors), and some niceties like cozy throws, a full length mirror, and opportunity to compost trash. We appreciated the labels and instructions throughout house but would have like some about recycling. The shower, gas fireplace, and TVs worked well. The laundry center was very appreciated, as we didn't have to pack as much on our trip. The property was conveniently close to groceries, gas station, downtown PG, and Monterey Bay Aquarium/Cannery Row, and one hour or less from Big Sur, Point Lobos, Carmel, etc. Overall, we had a fun and relaxing time and recommend the Pacific Grove Beachouse to all.

Nothing about this house disappoints. The knives are even sharp! I went with a small group of math teachers, and everything about the house was perfect for "colleagues going to a conference at Asilomar." The location is perfect. 10 minute walk to the conference grounds. 4 minute walk to the beach. EPIC sunset views. Well-kept bedrooms. Fluffy towels. The great room is a nice size. Really, if this is your budget, I can't imagine a nicer house. I've been going to a particular conference at Asilomar for 14 years, and have rented many nice houses in Pacific Grove, Carmel, and Carmel-by-the-Sea. This one wins. PS--There are a lot of deer.

The quality of the home far exceeds the cost of the rental. We were there to run in the BSIM, and the home gave us the respite we needed before and after the race. Thank you!

We rent a beach house each year and they all seem to offer something different. This beautiful home is nestled in the sand dunes of Pacific Grove and was super cool to have that scenery surround you. This home is also uniquely surrounded by a lot of wildlife. We watched birds, squirrels, chipmunks and deer throughout our stay. The deer were so friendly, they visited everyday! The oceans views were beautiful and super cool tide pools down the street. The beach is a short walk down the street. The beds were extremely comfortable and the house was exceptionally clean! The location of the home was very close to visit the aquarium and wharf. It’s is literally a 10 minute drive. The house is well stocked with everything you would need. The home does not offer bikes for cruising if you’re looking for that. Our stay, although in June was on the cooler side, so a fire pit on the patio would have made that more enjoyable. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to someone looking for an exceptional house with a lot of amenities offered.
