Location, location, location! The Pacific Ocean is at the end of the street, and Pacific Grove’s walkable downtown is two blocks away (park your car - you may never need it). The living is easy in this spacious five-bedroom home: the main living areas are on the lower floor, along with the kitchen, dining room, laundry, a bath with a shower, a powder room and two bedrooms (one Queen, two Twins). A staircase leads to the upper floor, with three bedrooms (one Queen, two Twins, and one King) along with a full bath with a tub/shower. The home is equipped with six Samsung smart TVs with YouTube streaming and DVR functionality. YouTube offers live TV, news and sports on over 85 channels (you may also log into your personal accounts, such as Netflix, Amazon, HBO, Hulu or Disney+). Built in 1895, and completely updated, this is country coastal living at its best. You’re steps away from the coastal recreational trail (walk or bike to the Aquarium, Cannery Row, and Fisherman’s Wharf). Lover’s Point, a sheltered white sand beach (and a haven for surfers, kayakers and scuba divers)—is a few minutes away. Our stay was fantastic! The house was so welcoming, large, and perfectly suited to our needs. Everything was clean, well stocked, and well taken care of. I appreciated the small touches that make all the differnece like the ample shampoo, conditioner, and lotion bottles as well as beautifully oragami level folded toilet paper. The king size bed was so comfortable and the view was so relaxing. We had no problems or issues at all. All of my friends liked the place and loved the locations easy access to everything. The applicances were great and with 10 people we really appreciated the three bathrooms. We loved this place and I will always remember it for the beautiful memories we made here. Thanks so much for the hospitality!

Great location, just down the street from a nice boardwalk along the bay and a few streets from Pacific Grove's shops, parks, and farmer's market (on mondays). House is comfortable with lots of beds and a nice big sofa. A few issues that might want to be looked into; automatic blinds stick in place and aren't easy to re-set. The upstairs blinds that can be pushed up or down manually are preferable. Fridge filter water doesn't work so make a note of that; nice that you provided a manual water filter in the fridge. Kitchen is well-stocked; Placemats should be washed.

The location was fantastic, close to beach, stores and restaurant. Unfortunately, after second day the back kitchen outlets went out and were not able to be fixed during our stay. Therefore, the toaster, micro, and coffee pot had to be placed on the floor to be used.

We were are a group of 6 that had a great stay in the home.The beds were comfortable, the living spaces large enough for everyone to have some time to themselves or be together.The home is 1 block to the main road at the Ocean, and a few blocks from Lovers Point. You probably couldnt find a better location to base your stay.The bathrooms were remodeled and super clean. Everyone reported that their shower was strong and the water nice and hot. The kitchen had modern appliances and plenty of cookware for our group.We have only good things to say about this home and our stay!You

We loved the house and the location! We enjoyed being able to just walk down the street to access the lovely walking path along the bay. The house is close to great restaurants and lots of shops. There were 5 of us and we each had our own bedroom. The beds and pillows were very comfy. We would definitely stay here again!

Our three generation family flew in from across the US to spend a long weekend in Pacific Grove. The house is quite roomy and well appointed. The grandkids loved the quirky nooks, twin bedrooms, and large living spaces. Much of downtown Pacific Grove is within walking distance, as are parks and Lovers' Point on the bay. There is no yard at the house to speak of, but several parks are within a 6 block radius. We'd love to spend more time at this rental, should the occasion arise.

Six of my USF School of Nursing classmates & I returned to Michelle’s amazingly clean, bright & welcoming Pacific Grove home to celebrate our 80th Birthdays!! Not only is the home outfitted with every comfort & amenity, but it’s only a short (1-2 block) walk to restaurants, shops & THE BEACH! We enjoyed a magical time celebrating enduring friendships, our cherished families & careers, retirement & travel!! Thank you, Michelle, for making such a beautiful place available for us to enjoy!

This is by far the best VRBO stay I've had. First the communication w Michelle was proactive and informative. Check-in was so easy. The house is in great shape - newly renovated, clean, clean, clean. The only amenities you should bring on your own are cooking condiments. They have a few but bring your own oil, butter, seasonings, ketchup etc. Otherwise kitchen and bathrooms are fully stocked. The area is great - walking trail w great views just a block away and near shops. Check-out is pretty standard - start dishwasher, washer w towels and take out the trash/recycling. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed a long weekend with extended family. The property was perfect for us. It was clean and well stocked. The pillows on the beds were especially awesome. The location is excellent, we walked most places including Cannery Row, Lovers Point and restaurants. I highly recommend this place and will certainly book it again if we stay in the Monterey area!

This was a very nice VRBO. The location was amazing, but we had 7 people and not one of us were able to take a hot shower all 4 days, 3 nights we were there. There was also flooding in the downstairs shower and I had to unclog the hair in the drain. The response from the property was slow.

We had an amazing time in Pacific Grove golfing at Spyglass and Spanish Bay for my husband’s 60th birthday! The house had EVERYTHING! Even supplies to make a birthday cake! My family and I would recommend staying here as it’s only a block from the ocean and a nice walk into town . Very close to Pebble Beach as well. Thank you for helping to make our trip a relaxing and memorable one.

Although the reservation was supposed to be for 10 adults and children, it ended up being for four adults and two children. The house is very very nice. The location worked perfectly for our family activities. The only downside is that it is on the corner of Central Avenue and there is lots of street noise. Using a sound machine and night really helped and no issues.

Location, location, location! Walk to town, walk to ocean, walk to aquarium a little further but so doable! Property pristine clean, well stocked kitchen for 8 people, comfortable beds with wonderful pillows and linens, bathrooms with fluffy white towels. We were in heaven!! The Beach Club house was a great place for our family vacation. Pretty much everything we needed at the house except for our clothes and food. (bring spices if you are going to cook) We had 6 adults and 4 children ranging from 5 years to 10 months. House was plenty big enough for all. The outdoor space at the house was ok but the ocean was really close so we went there. We were able to walk to most places we wanted to go.

We had a great week in Pacific Grove at this very comfortable beach house. The things we care about most: -nice beds -well stocked kitchen -location (walking to town/ beach) If you are looking for a quaint, historic home, this is not that-- it's modern inside and well set up for extended families to enjoy together. This home was ideal for a large family group, with spaces for togetherness and spaces to get a bit of space to yourself. The living room and kitchen table provided gathering space (with the two folding chairs provided, the table sat ten). The downstairs floor had a queen bedroom and a two-twin bedroom, providing my 85-year-old father-in-law a bathroom with an accessible shower bench and also his sleeping quarters all on the first floor (provided he could navigate the few porch steps into the home). An additional half bath was available in the living room area. Three bedrooms on the upper floor slept two each, and the bathroom had both a separate shower stall and a shower over tub, which would have made bathing children quick and efficient if we had had any with us. The upstairs also had a small nook with bar seating for three, futon seating, and various poofs to sit on. This area would make a great play space for children. The home was immaculate with simple updated styling, blankets and fluffy towels were plentiful, and communication with the rental company was excellent. Only five houses away from the road that runs along the ocean, steps to Lover’s Point, a short walk to downtown Pacific Grove, and a brisk fifteen minute walk to Cannery Row make this an amazing location. Recommend.

This house was perfect for our family of grown children and grandchildren. Plenty of rooms and space, we could all fit around the table to eat. Walked to Lovers Point a few times, downtown PG and had a get together with our daughter in laws family in Monterey. Would have been nice to have ziplock bags or cling wrap for leftovers since we cooked at the house, but we made it work. I knew there would be no seasonings or anything so we brought what we needed.
