~Downtown Pacific Grove Penthouses, Avail AT&T Golf Week~

We have stayed at this property twice now and absolutely love it. The location, the layout of the property, the amenities and especially the property manager, Kristina, who is super attentive, before during and after our stays. She is always responsive whenever there is a question or issue about the property. When we mentioned that one of the appliances was having issues during this stay, she thanked us for the feedback and purchased a new one for future residents. We can’t recommend this place enough, especially for families with young children like ours.

This is one of the best rentals we have ever stayed in. It was perfect for our two families! The kitchens were beautiful, and the huge deck was great for having cocktails with its amazing views. We loved that we were able to walk to several restaurants in both Pacific Grove and Monterey. We also walked to the aquarium, and appreciated the 4 aquarium passes that come with the home! We will be back!!

Roomy, plenty of bathrooms, amazing kitchens. Good location for Pacific Grove and Monterey. Got lots of exercise climbing the stairs.

I had grown up in PG and was looking forward to being back and enjoy the community. The property was great. Clean, organized and as described. Kristina was very helpful in getting us settled in and explaining the property. Everything was in working order. We had a very enjoyable family gathering.

What a beautiful property, we stayed in both penthouses and they were amazing. Such a wonderful place to celebrate with family!

We absolutely LOVED this property! It was the perfect set up for our group. We had three separate family units, including three children 7 and under and the layout with two kitchens, two living spaces, and separate levels of bedrooms was perfect. Plus being able to sit out on the deck and enjoy a glass of wine and the view was the best. We had a couple of issues come up during our stay, and every time, Kristina, the property manager, was immediately responsive and so helpful. She made sure that everything was resolved quickly, and was in constant communication with us. Unfortunately our stay was cut short due to a Covid exposure and she made the departure process very easy as we had to check out and leave the same day we received notice of the exposure. We would be delighted to stay at this property or any property managed by Kristina in future!

Nice space for multi person needs.

My family and I loved this property! There were 7 of us and there was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. When we checked in they left us a nice note and some wine as a welcome gift and they also had a popcorn bar and a coffee bar! Very nice touches! The place was beautiful, clean, and well equipped with everything you need. And the beds were very comfortable! The location was perfect. You are within walking distance to everything... shopping, restaurants, Starbucks, the beach, the aquarium, and Cannery Row. I would definitely stay here again!

Our group -- two families with four teenagers -- stayed five nights in both units of the Grove Penthouses. We were in the area to meet a third family, staying in Carmel, for a vacation to celebrate a birthday. The Penthouses offered plenty of room for our two families to be together and to find some quiet places for downtime. The living spaces were beautiful, and the kitchens were very well appointed. The balcony was a great place to enjoy fresh air and views of the bay. The bedrooms and the beds themselves were comfortable too. Some evenings felt a little warm to me, so we'd open the windows. We did not fiddle with the thermostats. Even though the rental is on a main street in Pacific Grove, the night was quiet enough to sleep with the windows open. In the morning, however -- as early as 4 a.m. -- the sea gulls start their crazy squawking and continue all day. They are soooooo loud and obnoxious! But we're on the bay, so it comes with the territory. The bedrooms helpfully have fans that you can turn on for a breeze and white noise. A short walk away, on the same street, we found some cute coffee shops and a wacky ice cream shop. The outdoor patio of the English pub was a great place to stop for a crowd-pleasing meal too. We also enjoyed walking to Lovers Point in the evenings. We met some locals, including a neighbor two doors down the street. They were all so nice! Our group spent lots of time together in Carmel, about 20 min away with traffic. We also kayaked at Moss Landing; hiked at Point Lobos and Palo Corona; visited the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row; drove the 17 Mile Drive; and more. The Penthouses were a great location to it all. Our only hiccup was that we arrived on our first night in the late evening. The property manager advised us to park on the numbered streets. (Parking by the entrance to the rental was never a problem, by the way.) So working under the moonlight and dim street lighting, we parked overnight on a numbered street. But we woke on our first morning to find a parking ticket because we were partially in front of a red curb. We are from out-of-state and unfamiliar with local parking rules. I wish we had known to look carefully for red curbs. Thank you to the Grove Penthouses. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return.

We had a group of 5 staying at this property. It was perfect. It felt like home the moment we arrived. Everything you could possibly need. Walking distance to Cannery Row and Fisherman's Wharf if you wanted a longer walk. Wonderful restaurants close by. Enjoyed running along the path at the beach. The unit was very clean, beds and pillows were so comfortable. We especially loved the wine as a welcoming gift. I would highly recommend this property and would stay here again!

This is a very unique property, is a converted building that used to be a Laundry business. The location is great, walkable to Monterey and Cannery Row, a few blocks from the ocean; and steps away from restaurants, stores and a movie theater. It’s comfortable and well stocked with dishes, utensils and pans. There are a variety of entertainment options for the television. There are some cosmetic blemishes, but nothing that would affect comfort or enjoyment.

We stayed at this property for 4 nights in March 2022. The location and view is incredible. Walkable to everything in pacific grove and even an easy walk to the aquarium (about 20 minutes). The apartment on the left had some outdated appliances (i.e. the coffee pot was rusted as well as the BBQ on the deck had mold in it and was completely unusable). The deck was our favorite part and we spent most afternoons enjoying the beautiful view. Beds were very comfortable as well. This accommodated our family of 8 comfortably and we would likely stay here again should we visit PG in the future.

Lovely property & lots of room. The only minor issue was the one bedroom on 2nd floor didn't have a full bath so those folks had to go up to the third floor for their showers.

Our family of 5 really enjoyed our stay at this Pacific Grove penthouse over Christmas 2021. The location can't be beat -- walking distance to the ocean for nice strolls along the coastal trail, to downtown Pacific Grove for dining and shopping, to Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row. The apartment is elegant, well-equipped and has tons of space for relaxing and lounging (has 2 kitchens, 2 living rooms), plus the view from the balcony is wonderful. Yes, there are a bit of stairs to reach the property (~40 steps) but it was not a problem for us, not even for my mother-in-law who's in her late 70s. Kristina, the property manager, was amazing. There was a winter storm during our stay and she was responsive and on top of any issue that cropped up.

Our family of 8 had a wonderful time staying at this home. It is so comfortable and well equipped that it felt like a true home. We were able to walk to the aquarium and cannery row in about 20 min. We would stroll down to lovers point every night which is just a few blocks away. Restaurants and grocery stores were also walking distance. It really was the perfect place for us. Thank you!!

We loved our stay at the penthouses! The home is beautiful and the location is perfect with easy access to the restaurants, etc in Pacific Grove and the coastal walk.

Our family of 5 brothers and sisters all in their 70's had a wonderful time in the Penthouses. We've stayed in many locations in the Monterey area and this is one of our favorites. Very elegant, well-equipped, and easy walking to shops, restaurants, and the ocean. The stairs to reach the property were a bit of a challenge, but not a problem. We all loved it.

A very positive experience by my friends and I staying at The Penthouse. The place is awesome and in a great location. You love the dual Kitchens with everything you would need to cook and entertain your group. All 4 rooms have access to their own bathroom which is very comfortable. You'll also love the outside deck, it's pretty cool. I would highly recommend this property.

Beautiful house. Enjoyed our stay!

It was wonderful being able to have our family all come together in this wonderful home and beautiful location. Very conducive to local activities, the beaches, and also being able to prepare incredible dinners together in a well put together kitchen. Nice for everyone to be together and yet have their own space. Would highly recommend and have already discussed returning!!!

Wonderful property. Walkable to aquarium and other places. Stairs to property are the only downside but it’s great exercise!

Great Space! for Family Gathering. Celebrating Family and Time Together didn't end until the lights were turned off. Steps from Monterey Bay and Lovers Point. Pacific Grove is a Gem.

Rented this for a trade show as host hotel was sold out. It was ten times better as we could be together as a team, have lunch in either kitchen while drinking wine, working on our laptops and having ocean views! Penthouse was the cutest - fully stocked, 4 bathrooms (!) and perfectly decorated. Will definitely do it again :)

Short drive almost to anything in Monterey. Property is well maintain and clean. It is stock with all seasoning that you need which is a bonus. Since it is like double apartments and connected, so you get privacy and double kitchen. Everything just wonderful. Getting luagage up is a bit hassle. Thank you for the wonderful property.

We were two families staying at this property for a few days. This house had plenty of rooms to accommodate two rooms of kids and two rooms for the adults. Walking distance to the aquarium, beach, coffee shops, and restaurants.
