It has limited handicap access such as a ramp at the entrance and grab bars in the shower and toilet.This tranquil estate includes 5 bedrooms, 4. bathrooms, and 4,600 square feet of luxury living space. There is a separate unit on the property that is used occasionally by others on the property. Only a few blocks from the famous Spanish Bay Resort and only a few miles from the heart of downtown Pacific Grove. Plenty of room! Lots of bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and storage space. Kitchen was well supplied with pots, pans, & utensils. The grounds could benefit from some clean-up but overall we would definitely stay here again.

There were 11 of us in our party. Three older teenage boys, young adults, parents and grandma. The house was definitely large enough to accommodate everyone, especially on the main floor. The only issue we had was the listing says five bedrooms and in actuality there’s only four bedrooms with a fold out hide a bed in the game room.The house was big enough that we were able to work out the sleeping arrangements without any problems. An air mattress was also provided if we wanted to use it .The location is excellent. The beach is within walking distance with easy access and you can enjoy getting in the water.Paul, the property manager was readily available if we had any concerns. The only one we had was the bedroom issue, however,the house was big enough to accommodate all of us.

We had 10 folks for one week; nine for the second. The home had spaces that gave us privacy and comfort for everyone. Kitchen is well supplied and gave us a chance to cook together and enjoy many home-cooked meals. Paul, the property manager, was great and always available.

Great Location, But Several Issues The location is fantastic, but unfortunately, our experience was marred by a few significant issues. First, the Wi-Fi was completely unreliable throughout our stay. Despite reaching out to the property manager, who mentioned that the connection is often spotty due to the location and recent winds, the Wi-Fi never worked for us. While the house was generally tidy upon arrival, it wasn’t as clean as we expected. There were dust bunnies, and the trash can smelled unpleasant—especially the kitchen one under the bag. We also noticed several maintenance issues: exposed outlets, handwritten notes on the walls with instructions for opening and locking doors, and curtains that were poorly "tacked" in place. These minor details detracted from the “luxury living” experience promised in the listing. Although the property is set on a lovely acre of land, we were told not to go out back due to the presence of fleas and ticks, which was disappointing. Additionally, we encountered difficulties accessing the Pebble Beach gates, though the property manager did eventually resolve the issue. Inside, the house had a strange, unsettling vibe—it felt as though we were being watched. We also faced a confusing situation where we were incorrectly charged a pet fee. While we did not have a pet, our 2-year-old granddaughter did bring her stuffed cat, "Kitty," which led to some confusion. Haunted House!

Our family of three generations recently stayed for the week. We were completely comfortable as the lay-out of the home was ideal for my two senior parents (87 and 88); my mom uses a walker and a wheelchair. We appreciated the flow of the house, with the main floor accommodating them very comfortably. The shower chair in one of the master suites was highly appreciated. The location of the home was beyond amazing as it's literally a stone's throw from the 17-mi drive. We loved being within the Del Monte Forest, spotting wildlife everyday--deer, raccoons, a bobcat.. My husband and I looked forward to our walks every evening at dusk in the Rip Van Winkle Open Space, just a few blocks from the property...magical place. Thank you to the property manager, Paul, who was readily available for any questions we had.

We were here for a family event being celebrated in the area. I broke my ankle one week prior, but this house had two first-floor bedrooms and grab bars in the master bathroom which was perfect for impaired mobility. Large kitchen, very comfortable beds, and located in a beautiful area a short drive from amazing ocean views. Highly recommend.

I rented this property with a group of friends for a golf weekend- unfortunately, the weather was not on our side for golf, but we had an excellent time regardless! The property was exactly as pictured, and the house was spacious and perfect for our group of nine adults. Paul was extremely communicative and kind and made sure we had everything we needed. The location of the property was close to all of the things you want to do in Monterey and Carmel. We would definitely rent this property again in the future!

Eight friends and family stayed 4 nights in this lovely community. We gathered for a 65th birthday, golf, and touring around Monterey and Carmel. The location was a few minutes from many of the famous local courses and is between Carmel and Monterey. It is in a very quiet residential area that is forested. There was tons of room in the house and we never felt crowded. The kitchen is large and contains all of the accessories you would need. The place was clean and the showers were good; the beds were comfortable with good linens. We cooked breakfast in the house and light lunches. We had a Chef's dinner (Chef Jesse McClelland) and the kitchen and tables worked perfectly. For our group, this VRBO was great value in an excellent location. Communication was almost immediate and the check-in and access were easy. Highly recommend.

Our family gathered from all over the country and were all very comfortable in the house and apartment. We had a lot of together-time in the living room, around the dining room table and cooking Thanksgiving dinner together in the spacious kitchen. Next time we’ll bring sharp knives, vegetable peelers, and cookware for the microwave.). We also had time to go off in different directions for age-appropriate explorations of the beautiful area.

This is a wonderful home on a quiet street, just off one of north south main roads through Del Monte Forest. Very close to all three of the Pebble Beach Resorts golf venues. The house is large and a classic “in the forest” home. It’s clean, nicely furnished. I’d recommend it.
