Great location, with a few things to be aware of We really enjoyed our stay in Sestri Levante, and the location of this apartment is absolutely fantastic. Location, location, location! It is literally a few steps from the beach — less than a minute — and is also within easy walking distance of restaurants, the historic part of town and everything you need. We stayed for 10 days, so we were particularly grateful for the practical facilities. The washing machine and drying area were invaluable, especially in the heat. The kitchen has a gas hob, oven, microwave and fridge, and there is a really good amount of cupboard and drawer space, which meant we could properly unpack rather than living out of suitcases. The balcony was another lovely feature. It looks out over the alleyway towards the surrounding buildings and restaurants, so there is plenty of life going on around you. We enjoyed having breakfast and lunch there and sitting outside in the evenings. A particularly thoughtful touch was the beach equipment provided — an umbrella and two deck chairs. They aren't luxury beach furniture, but having them available was wonderful and saved us having to buy or hire anything. We appreciated the thoughtful touches and the convenience of being so close to the beach and everything Sestri Levante has to offer.

The apartment is very compact, particularly the bathroom. The bathroom is extremely narrow, and the boiler above the basin is low. At 5'5", I just managed to avoid hitting my head, so taller guests may find this challenging. The toilet is also very close to the shower, meaning the floor can become wet and slippery. A bath mat would make a big difference. The bathroom window is immediately adjacent to the neighbouring property, so it isn't really possible to leave it open for ventilation without compromising privacy. You can also hear the neighbours' television at times. The kitchen is functional but very small and the layout isn't particularly easy to work in. There is limited preparation space, and some of the kitchen fittings are quite high, so shorter guests may struggle with them. The oven controls are also quite worn and difficult to read. There is no toaster, although we managed by using the grill. The biggest issue for us was the bed. Unfortunately, we found the mattress extremely soft and uncomfortable, with noticeable springs, and I struggled to sleep on it. We eventually used the foam mattresses from the fold-out beds instead, which worked much better for us. The apartment also gets warm in the summer. There are fans provided, which helped, but air conditioning would make a significant difference during hotter weather. One other thing worth knowing is that the apartment is three floors up via a very steep, narrow spiral staircase. This wasn't a problem for us physically, but the lighting sensors on the staircase didn't seem to activate when leaving the apartment. This meant that the stairwell could be completely dark, and we needed to use the torch on our phones to see the steps safely. For a couple who mainly want somewhere to sleep, shower, prepare simple food and spend most of their time exploring Sestri Levante, the apartment works well.

Una casa accogliente,ideale per un viaggiatore single e magari il suo cane😊. C'è tutto il necessario. Il bagno e la doccia sono stati ricavati in uno spazio piccolo, ma questo non ha tolto la sua efficienza. Io ero al terzo piano con balcone da cui si vedeva la bellissima piazza del municipio. Le scale sono architettonicamente suggestive ma piuttosto strette e quindi conviene avere una valigia non troppo pesante e non troppo grande. Posizione eccellente! Io e il mio cane siamo stati benissimo. Sicuramente tornerei.

Le scale se pur tutto restaurato e gradevoli sono scomode se hai valigia da trasportare su o giù. Bisogna avere buone gambe!

Läget, mitt emellan de två stränderna. Nära till restauranger. Nära till allt egentligen då Sestri Levante har gångavstånd överallt. Söt italiensk lägenhet med fin balkong. Det mesta fanns i köksväg. Det var smidigt i kontakten med de som lämnade respektive hämtade nyckeln, särskilt då vi var tvungna att ändra tiden för utcheckning i sista sekund pga ändrade reseförhållanden. Hade trots vissa brister ändå gärna bott där igen då vi hade en jättefin semester i en mysig miljö!

Toaletten var minimal, elektroniken till varmvattenberedaren ovanför handfatet kändes lite osäkert. Svartmögel i badutrymmet. Väldigt dammigt på några ställen, ex under sängen (vilket vi upptäckte då vår 1-åring skulle utforska allt). Smal trappa i trapphuset och man fick inte ställa vagnen där nere vilket gjorde att vi fick bära vagnen upp och ner för trapporna flera gånger varje dag, 3 våningar.
