A pleasant few days in December as a base to explore and hike in the region.

Location was very convenient for the station and quite far from a road so pleasantly quiet. It is also quite close to Via Nazionale and several shops and good restaurants. Good to have a comfortable bed, a sofa, a good shower/bathroom and heating. It was also nice to have a view of the hills. Kitchen quite well equipped and it has a decent sized fridge.

Wifi was ok but a bit slow. A flat below seemed to have a smoker in and there was sometimes a very unpleasant smell of smoke, however no fault of the host. Directions to the entrance near the "Expert" shop entrance or the what3words address (https://w3w.co/lavender.green.beams) would have been very helpful. Luckily I had 3G and was able to message the host, who responded quickly and came out onto the road to get me.

Great choice to explore Cinque Terre and near to the beach.

We enjoyed staying at Casa Stella Marina. It is a nice very clean apartment 5 min walking from the railway station, 5 min to the beach, 5 min to the supermarket and restaurants. The apartment is in the modern building in a quiet place. There is a large elevator,so it was easy to get the luggage upstairs. The apartment is equipped with all necessary things for the rest and comfortable staying. We just needed to buy extra toilet paper, plastic bags for a waste bin and nespresso capsules. The owner is very friendly. She does not speak English, but we communicated well with the help of Google translator)) Fast wifi. I recommend to go to the nearest from the apartment Grande Albergo beach zone! Best cafe, clean and comfortable sandy beach and sunbeds equipment.

The rooms are very small. If you use the sofa for sleeping, want to dry the clothes after washing - there is no space in the kitchen. Sometimes some people were very loud at night and in early mormings(( We slept with open windows to get fresh air. It would be helpful to get instructions how to find the apartment in the building beforehand. We asked for the help in the nearest cafe.

Appartamento veramente piccolo adatto a max due persone e per soggiorni brevi. Molto caldo per le grandi vetrate e l'esposizione a sud. Nessuno spazio esterno per stendere. Palazzo decadente stile anni settanta con pianerottolo che ricorda le peggiori case della periferia romana!
