A nice flat near the sea. The road in front of the appartement is very busy, a lot of noise, but not a problem inside the flat. Close to the station, shops and restaurants, everything is at walking distance.There are a lot of personal items in the flat, for me, a bit too much for a rental place.Closets full of towels, rugs, shoes in the walk-in closed, in the kitchen a lot of stuff that is clearly never used anymore. It detracts from the charm of the flat a bit in my opinion. Although my stay was fine. The owner (on distance)was very helpful and kind.

This apartment is big and clean and nice and has a big balcony an everything you need in the kitchen and a grocery store just on the other side of the street and the beach two minutes walk away (or is it three?). You walk five minutes to the railway station and ten minutes to the center of the town - you cannot demand more. It is a very good place to stay and the communication with the landlady can't be better. We enjoyed our time in Sestri Levante very much.

A lovely place to enjoy a relaxed time by the sea. We arrived by train - the apartment is convenient for the station, although the cleaning was running late, so our check in needed to be delayed. We had no problems during the week, and the apartment was as expected. We'd happily stay again if we came back to Sestri Levante. We weren't bothered by the noise at all, despite being close to the railway line. Elena kindly allowed us to leave our bags in the apartment on our final day which was very helpful.

A good place to stay

Really good large flat a minute from the sea with all the basics that you might need to enjoy the sea and surrounding areas. I would note that it is not the quietest location as the flat is located between the train line and a busy road but this would not put me off going back another time as you kind of adjust and block it out weird train sounds and scooters screaming along in the night. Thanks for the stay, it suited are little family reunion well.

We had a wonderful two weeks in the apartment in Sestri Levante. The accommodation was bright, spacious and comfortable with views of the sea. It was ideally placed for a 5 minute walk to the train station, from where you can explore the Cinque Terre and beyond. Giovanni met us when we arrived and gave us some great tips on places to visit and eat. He was contactable throughout the stay and even drove us on a tour of the area instead of us having to wait an hour for our train! Sestri Levante is a beautiful town itself with local restaurants, supermarkets and scenic beach front. You can also take the ferry to the Cinque Terre or Portofino. We will definitely be back...… not least to have more of the local focaccia! Thanks again Elena and Giovanni for a wonderful holiday

We spent 2 weeks in this lovely apartment in jube 2018 and enjoyed it so much! Sitting on the balcony under an enormous tree from where you get a glimpse of the sea just one minute away by walking.Or strolling down to any of the restaurants nearby was also lovely. We stayed 6 people but the well equipped flat was large enough to house us without any problem. When electricity failed once Paola was there quick to fix the problem. So we can strongly recommend anyone to rent this apartment. Staffan Wolters Sweden

Last year I started coordinating with Elena via email. She was very easy to work with and gave me a positive impression as to what to expect at the apartment. My wife and I arrived at the apartment in the late afternoon. A telephone call to Giovanni, her father, resulted in his arrival at the apartment within a few minutes. Giovanni was great! He explained how and where I could park off the street, the procedure for entering the building and the apartment. Once in the apartment he thoroughly explained everything from how to recycle, cook, set the temperature, to using the television remote. He also advised that I should contact him should I have any issue or question. His input during our stay helped make it a great experience. The apartment with two bedrooms, two baths, a salon, complete kitchen, dining area, and two balconies was in good condition, clean, well furnished, and roomy which was perfect for a week's stay. It was perfect for the two of us and with everything for a family I am sure it would be great for them as well. The apartment is within a five minute walk of the train station, a block off the seaside, a few blocks from downtown and supermarkets. We met Elena later during our stay and like Giovanni, she was very personable and helpful. This apartment was the prefect location for us as we traveled by train to Portofino and Cinque Terre which were only minutes away via train. On a couple of days we simply strolled along the seaside and through the town. Both my wife and I feel very fortunate to have had this opportunity! As I stated earlier, Giovanni and Elena were wonderful hosts and if in Sestri Levante in the future, I would make every effort to stay with them!!

Large and airy with several balconies, this apartment felt like a North American home. The boardwalk is a block away and has many beachfront cafes and restaurants. You can easily walk to shops, markets and restaurants in the city center, something we did daily. Hop the train to Cinque Terre or just chill on the boardwalk. This apartment in Sestri Levante was the perfect place to stay!

We had a great week in Elena's flat. The location is second to none, literally minutes away from the beach and Sestri is a lovely town with some great restaurants, slightly away from the main tourist crowds of the Cinque Terre but close enough to reach all the best parts of the Italian coastline.

Elena was so responsive during the booking process and had someone waiting for us when we arrived to show us the apartment. The apartment had a parking space for a rental car, crib for our baby, toys for our 2 year old, and a full kitchen. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well appointed for a traveling family. We were able to wash and dry clothes which is such a luxury when traveling for any period of time longer than a weekend. It was a great location - easy walk for restaurants, shops, beach, and grocery store. Highly recommend this place for families!!

Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Elena's father at the apartment. Such a kind man, as my husband wanted to know if there was a guitar store nearby so he could continue his lessons. Giovanni brought his own guitar to my husband. The apartment was absolutely perfect. It was spotless and fully equipped with everything we could have asked for to stay for a month. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the necessary needs to cook. The refrigerator was large, and loads of counter space to prepare all our meals. The apartment is located about a seven minute walk to the center of town. You can walk by the sea or side streets to Sestri Levante. The train station is located behind the apartment and for very minimal charges, can take you up to Genoa or south to Cinque Terra and on to Pisa. There are great restaurants, shopping and wonderful cafes to experience. At any time we needed anything at all, Elena was there to help. We would email her, and within a very short time she responded to our needs. I highly recommend staying here and if we should return back to Italy, we will be staying in their home. Thank you so much for making our vacation in Sestri Levante a vacation to remember!

We spent one very enjoyable week in Sestri Levante. This is a very high quality property in a great setting. The apartment itself was well decorated, comfortable and the kitchen is very well equipped for cooking. There were Gelato shops, restaurants, patisseries, train station, etc. all close by and the fantastic beach was just 2 minutes walk away. We enjoyed our trips to Portofino, the Cinque Terre and other nearby towns. We were able to get around effortlessly by train the entire week. There were markets closer, however we walked a little further to the Coop Supermarket where we were able to buy great supplies for cooking, eating and enjoying wine the entire week. Highly recommended - great location, fantastic host and spacious apartment

This was the perfect place for our 5 week stay. Traveling with 3 small children the selection of "the perfect" residence was very important to us prior to departure. To find a place that would provide joy, rest and adventure for both kids and parents. The flat was perfect for us. It's specious, well structured, well equipped, clean and the kids just loved the room with toys, games and books. It has an elevator, we had room for our sibling trolley in the hallway, specious balconies and the neighbors are Italians! And the hosts; wonderful hospitality. Elena and Filippo provided us with all the information we needed prior to booking, helping us to select the perfect home for our stay. The whole family is just very service minded and very helpful. Thank you Elena, Filippo, John and Paola for making our stay a memorable one. We choose Sestri Levante because the town offers both shopping, hiking, culinary experiences, beaches and playgrounds; all within walking distance. It's a beautiful place. We also choose Sestri Levante and this flat because of the easy access to the railway and the possibilities to visit other beautiful small cities up and down the coast. We enjoyed visiting several of theese. Sestri Levante offers plenty of restaurants and special stores to buy fresh ingredients for cooking at home. There's a bakery just outside the flat. Together with a few restaurants and pizzerias. Please try Conte Max's pizza! We do recommend this flat and these wonderful, honest owners!

I spent 2 weeks in the apartment and we simply had a perfect vacation. It is positioned few steps from the beach and perfectly equipped as this was the primary house of the owner till few months before. We had a lovely holiday in Sestri Levante... really feeling at home there. It is ideal for families as it is big and with toys/games for kids. Elena was really nice and extremely welcoming. Really the perfect vacation.

We had a really great family holiday in Sestri Levante. The apartment is lovely and spacious and two minutes walk from the beach. The family we rented from were very kind and helpful and happy to answer any questions we had. The apartment has a modern fully equipped kitchen and large living room and dining area. The long balcony has dining table and chairs to eat alfresco. Everything was spotlessly clean. There is a bakery across the road for fresh bread and croissants in the morning. The town is beautiful with a huge choice of restaurants. We had a really relaxing and enjoyable holiday and the children really loved the place.

Nice and functional appartment just 2 min away from the beach by foot. It's ideal if you have small children like we do (kids room, lift, safe balcony). Big kitchen and living room with plenty of space. Grocery, bakery and pharmacy opposite the street. The lungomare (so called seafront promenade) is full of restaurants if you don't want to cook, very animated at evenings. We had a great time.

We really enjoyed our stay. There is a children's room for the children. A very large balcony invites you to sit outside and eat. In general, the apartment is very well equipped with a dishwasher, coffee maker, washing machine, etc. The location is excellent, right in the second row behind the promenade. We didn't use the car at all while we were there. We can highly recommend this apartment.
