Book for the view, stay for the room!

Everything about Anni's guesthouse is to be recommended. A lovely welcoming host, extremely spacious accommodation, spectacular view, well located and excellent value for money.

There is nothing not to like about this spot. I would mention the host stays on the same property which might not be for some but the layout was completely unobtrusive and we had all the privacy you'd want.

Lovely setting to rest, calm and area was quiet. Beautiful views. Owner is friendly, responsive to messages and helpful. Easy to reach, on top of the hill, so drove to the beach (which is worth it for the view!).

Better than expected, comfortable and peaceful

The place is absolutely lovely! Gorgeous decor and stunning view. The house is located atop a hill. It was extremely windy but the balcony facing the ocean blocks the wind and you can comfortably sit and enjoy the view. So peaceful and Anni is such a kind and warm host!

The view from the balcony was spectacular, you can see for miles of beautiful beaches. No noise just peace and quite, was just what we needed.

Welcome was friendly & personal. The unit is spacious, clean, well equipped & just great! The view is stunning, sundowners on the balcony overlooking the ocean, perfect. Will stay here again.

Well, the place is truly wonderful Anna, was great. We felt comfortable the view as everyone can see spectacular the place inside has a rustic look of old times the detail must have taken alot of patience and things to do is also all quite close to the place whether it's food or going to the beach we went to the light house which was a lovely walk but it's definitely the place to go if you want to relax...

I have to be honest there wasn't a tray for the oven and the braai area the light didn't work in it there wasn't proper thongs and the wifi doesn't have a good strength you need to move to kitchen but there is room for improvement a wifi extender is just needed but all in all I still recommend her lovely home .

We loved stayed in the self-contained unit as it had beautiful views and all the comforts of home in a peaceful setting.

Anni’s Guesthouse gave us the benefit of having tremendous views of the bay area, without steps or stairs inside the unit - there are only 6 steps to climb at the front door and that made life easier for my mom of 82. The flatlet offers a complete self-contained unit that can accommodate up to three adults in comfort and all the supplies you would need to self-cater. There is a open parking spot provided right by the front door and good security gates at the entrance. Annemarie very kindly made us feel welcome and supported.

The flatlet is well-equipped but there are also many ornaments and unnecessary decorative items that sit in the way of where travellers would place their belongings in the bedroom and bathroom. Mid 2024, new house is being built on the lot next to Anni’s Guesthouse so just enquire about their progress and working hours before you book. Our stay was quiet and peaceful since it was over the weekend.
