Comfortable clean rooms and great hospitality

Clean rooms with all the basic comforts for a lodging that is designed to meet travelers needs. Convenient stay if you are visiting the western part of Belize. Good restaurant serving breakfast and dinner, pool to cool off after the excursions. Management is super hospitable and they will go out of their way to make your stay comfortable! Allen and Diane are a fantastic team - this is a family run business and they are keen to welcome you. For those traveling to Belize, please don’t visit if you are expecting high end luxury- this is where you come for adventure and history.

Located right on the George Price highway and close to the areas we wanted to visit made this a nice fit for us.

Wonderful staff made it feel like staying with family (that you like).

The staff were amazing, all of them including the owner (who personally drove us into town and back one evening for dinner), the amazing women at the front desk, and the dining room staff and cleaning crew. Extraordinarily kind, helpful, and willing to go above and beyond to help. We had some food allergies and they made several trips to the store to look for things they could prepare for us and the chef made delicious papusas for us even though they were not on the menu. The rooms were lovely and spacious and clean.

The hotel is not in town and there's not anything you can easily walk to - not a big problem but best to plan on getting rides into town, picked up for excursions, or just rent a car. We were picked up for excursions and got a couple of rides into town for dinner, easy to arrange with the hotel. There is no elevator, so if stairs are an issue ask about a lower floor.

I had a pleasant time with hotel staff excellent service and shuttle into San Ignacio

Staff very friendly and helpful. I had some tours cancel and they helped arrange last minute adventure tours.

It was little further (not walking distance about 10 minute drive) from San Ignacio than I originally thought.

Mr. Allen Andrews, the owner, as well as his crew are first class!!!

The Belizean breakfasts were exceptional and Mr. Allen went above and beyond to make sure we had anything we asked for! We had dinner on the property our second night there and it was absolutely delicious! The chef on site is a master at his craft. Diana, the do-it-all front desk extraordinaire is a wonder! She made sure we had everything we needed and everything was taken care of. She booked us massages done in the comfort of our own rooms! Mr. Allen can whip up some pretty amazing cocktails that were enjoyed by the pool and he did everything in his power that we were safe and taken care of. My daughters and I wholeheartedly enjoyed this stay and albeit being a short one...we will definitely be back to stay at the Alexandria Marquis!!!

I don't have not one negative thing to share about the experience or the stay here. Everything was hands down amazing!

Horrible le plus mauvais hôtel de mon voyage

Tout: hôtel situé entre une route très passante:camion moto et voiture nuit et jour ,et un terrain vague hôtel très quelconque dans la chambre porte fenêtre fêlée, tuyau découvert , on tire un tiroir il tombe la prestation dans les mains piscine avec une pompe hyper bruyante .personnel très désagréable Petit déjeuner mininaliste : café en poudre oeufs brouillés trop cuits pas de jus de fruits et très très cher pour la destination, d’ailleurs presque personne dans l’hôtel
