The home was *very* comfortable and spacious. Nestled down a quiet street, it's perfectly located. Probably easiest if you have a car. Not a terribly long walk to public transportation, but very easy to drive up and park. One point of note: the photos in the description are accurate, but the main image of the property is taken from the back yard. No problem here, but when you're driving up, don't expect to see that particular view. But, the place is really lovely. We'd stay there again for sure.
I can't really identify anything we didn't like. Japanese houses are cold during the winters so travelers should be prepared for a cold house. There's heating in all the rooms, and we were just fine, but I never feel like you can get that super cozy, really warm feel in a Japanese new house without a kerosine stove, a space heater, or just sitting right below the heating/air con. But, again, lots of blankets, great shower, bath, hot water, etc. No complaints, truly. Awesome place.

The rooms are cold and the bathing shower area are very cold and not well insulated. This makes the stay quite intolerable during winter. The beds were not comfortable. It seems the owner is not willing to invest in better facilities, amenities to make the stay conducive for families.
