overall i really liked the accommodation

all on one level, comfortable, homely, close to town, good access for beach,

there were a couple of mouldy damp patches in the bedrooms, most likely due to the time of year

The heater in the bathroom is too hot, no clear instruction for how to adjust Mattress topper on main bed was not secured on far side so moved during night, occupant did fall out of bed as a result

Great hosts and location

The property was great and the location was perfect. Great place for two friends to hang out. Hosts were excellent communicators and accommodating. Close to the beach and other facilities and easy access. Would recommend.

The heaters and radiator were a little complicated to use but after a while we figured it out. Single beds were quite soft but that’s more down to taste as the double was perfect.

A lovely holiday home

This was a lovely clean and cosy flat in a quiet location, but also within easy reach of the town and the sea front. The flat was homely and thoughtfully decorated. The sofa/chairs and the bed were particularly comfortable and the large rug in the open plan living area. The flat had everything needed for a holiday and was nice and warm (made possible by the air con system).

The people upstairs were very noisy, particularly with their nocturnal activities (!) that kept one of us awake for hours. Fortunately we only had to experience this for 1 night. At night (when we arrived) it was very dark, as the building isn't very close to the street lights, which made locating the correct flat and then particularly the correct parking space pretty difficult. A stronger outside light at the front and one at the back would have been useful.

For the size of property the layout is good - was nice to hear the sea in the evening

It’s quite dated and could do with an uplift - especially the decor and kitchen Couldn’t quite work out why there were trays/pans for cooking… yet no dinner plates????

Wonderful place to stay

Well equipped kitchen. Lovely comfortable beds. Great location. Little extras like tea, sugar, coffee and biscuits. They also provided kitchen and toilet rolls and cleaning liquids. Really nice touches like the decor. Plenty of hangers and wardrobe space. The shower was really powerful which was great. There is a very handy folder with all the information that you could possibly need. Really enjoyed our stay

There was a lovely arrangement of shells and rocks on the table with what I thought was 3 delicious green apples...."ooo yummy" I thought until I realized they were for decorative purposes 😞😞😞. Seriously though I don't have any complaints whatsoever and would gladly stop here again.

A very disappointing property and much over priced.

The only good thing about this rental was the bedrooms. However, in the small bedroom there was what we thought was maybe a humidifier and this kept coming on during the night and waking the grandchildren.

Everything else wasn't good. Although I had agreed arrival at 3pm, the heating wasn't on to greet us. The heater in the bathroom was broken and the owner came and put a fan heater in until an electrician came the next day to mend it. A fan heater should never be used in a bathroom!! He told us that booking.com had told the owner that we had said we would arrive at 6pm, which wasn't true. The bathroom sink was far too small and there was no shelf above it to accommodate items that we could access easily. A heated towel rail needs to be fitted as there is nowhere to dry towels. It would also solve the heat situation in there. The tv didn't work well and there was no instruction booklet...the one there was for a different tv. The kitchen was inadequate as nearly all the cupboards were full, leaving nowhere to put food. The freezer part of the fridge needed defrosting and because of this we weren't able to store any frozen food. The owner was aware of this as the cleaner had told her, but she had said to not bother doing it and she would do it after we'd gone. We were staggered to hear that..!! Apart from the bedrooms, everywhere else had a layer of dust. The key safe was very stiff and therefore extremely hard to open. Had I been there by myself, I wouldn't have been able to gain access.
