This 3rd floor apartment is stylish and beautifully furnished, with views over York and the Minster; Bootham Terrace has everything you need for a short break enjoying all the city has to offer. With conveniences and pubs only a stones throw from your accommodation you can chill in calming living space or use us as a base to explore the delights of York. A short walk from the Train Station Bootham Loft Apartment is conveniently located for a great break.
The apartment briefly comprises of open plan living, kitchen, diner with separate king bedroom. There is a sofa bed available in the lounge.
The bathroom consists of a beautiful free standing bath (no shower) and views over York.
The apartment is located on the 3rd floor so is ideally located for privacy and peace and quiet. Please note there is no lift.
Parking is located less than 5 minutes walk away at Marygate Car park (local rates apply)

Great location! Easy walk from the train station. Kitchen was great - grabbed some easy oven-ready items at Waitrose after a long day of exploring. As the listing mentions, there is only a tub in the bathroom. The tub does fill a bit slowly and the addition of a handheld nozzle would be helpful. Having the clothing washer was great. The drying portion does take a few cycles, as is true for many combination units.

Overall, the apartment is lovely. We stayed for two nights and enjoyed it. A couple of things to note. The bathtub isn’t conducive for washing your hair, so that needs to be done in the kitchen sink. Washcloths weren’t provided, which we would have found helpful. One of the reasons why we selected this apartment was because it had a washer and dryer. Directions on how to operate it would have been appreciated. I wasn’t able to find anything online. The QR code for the coffee maker directions lead you to a website in a foreign language. When we arrived there were dirty kitchen towels on the counter. I’m assuming that was an oversight by the cleaning company.

The property had many conveniences, including a washing machine. It was an easy walk to the Minster, Shambles, eating locations, grocery store and even the railway station once you figure out the shortcut.
As they caution you. You have to be comfortable with 3 flights of stairs. I think the only thing that caught us off guard was the lack of a shower and a faucet on the tub which would not allow for washing hair or even your face. We had to use the kitchen sink for those needs.
