Fabulous!! Other people that rent out properties should take note, this is how to do it right!!

Location, modern and clean, beds big and comfy! Everything you need for a short stay near Alton towers and lovely walk nearby. 2 teenagers loved having attic area to themselves with en-suite, very cool!

Towels good quality, but a little small for showering. Wooden floor in attic a bit noisy, can be heard downstairs. Maybe it was just our teenagers being teenagers!!

Cute and cosy, very organised and clean.

The house was lovely and clean, and the owners were friendly and informative. A quirky setting and not for from Alton Towers. Shops nearby and a retail park not too far of a drive away. I have no negatives to say about our stay, I wished I booked an extra night rather than travelling back straight from the theme park, to spend more time in the property.

A lovely stay

We loved everything about this cottage - the decor, the furnishings & the equipment were all top notch! There were also many little thoughtful additional touches provided by the extremely helpful hosts which made the stay feel special. They also responded very quickly to any messages we sent to them. We stayed there with our daughter, son in law & granddaughter when attending a family wedding in the area and we were all delighted with our accomodation. The cottage is situated in a quiet lane in the lovely village of Rocester, which is surrounded by beautiful countryside. The village also has a convenience store, pub & an excellent fish & chip shop! We would highly recommend this lovely property and would like to thank our hosts for a very comfortable and relaxing stay.

Beautifully and thoughtfully renovated property in a fabulous location for trips to Alton Towers. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable and very well equipped - everything we needed was available. Great few days celebrating our son’s BIG birthday

Amazing place everything so clean and modern. Everything you could need and even a little garden if u manage some nice weather. Lovely Indian and pizza place within a couple of minutes walk. Alton towers 15 mins drive. Great hosts

Fabulous house in the quiet village of Rocester - perfect location for Alton Towers!

Perfect location for visiting Alton Towers (10 minutes drive). Whittaker Mews is a modernised older house that has everything you could wish for in a short or long break. The kitchen is very well stocked with utensils and cooking appliances (even an air fryer). Denise and Bernie are great hosts - thank you for the lovely welcome pack - communication is perfect !

Very comfortable stay, very well equipped, lovely location

Really lovely, comfortable house. Perfect facilities, well equipped kitchen. Very nicely furnished, was a pleasure staying here. Easy parking. Good size for a group of adults (family members visiting Alton Towers), nice that no one had to have the 'children's room' - all rooms and beds were perfectly comfy. Two modern bathrooms. Lovely garden area to enjoy. A very nice touch was the basket of goodies and bottle of milk left for us. All in all, a wonderful stay and we 100% hope to be back before too long!

Words can't convey how great this place is.

This was our second stay at Whittaker Mews. The property is finished to an exceptional standard, and is extremely clean. Never stayed anywhere that is so well appointed. We got so many ideas for our home from here. Situated 15 minutes from Alton Towers, and in a lovely village with all the amenities you need. This house is definitely going to be our yearly tradition when we visit the area.

The property was fantastic. Big, homely and actually better than the pictures. The owner was extremely nice and helpful at every stage. Even left a bowl of complimentary snacks. This is genuinely the best booking.com experience I have had. And I would definately come back next time I go to Alton Towers.
