Amalia beach apartment

Posizione davvero perfetta: letteralmente a due passi da Long Beach, ma allo stesso tempo in una via tranquilla e silenziosa, dove si riposa benissimo anche la sera. L’appartamento è pulito, accogliente e molto più spazioso della media rispetto ad altre strutture in cui ho soggiornato in zona. È dotato di un cucinino con frigorifero e di tutto il necessario per preparare una colazione o un pasto in autonomia. Un grande punto a favore è il bagno: ampio, finestrato (una vera rarità) e molto comodo. Il giardino privato è un valore aggiunto meraviglioso, perfetto per fare colazione o godersi il tramonto in totale tranquillità. Gli host sono stati molto disponibili e attenti: durante il soggiorno hanno cambiato lenzuola e asciugamani e si sono dimostrati pronti ad aiutarmi per qualsiasi necessità.

Nessun difetto. Alcuni segnalano il rumore della raccolta dei rifiuti, ma dura pochi minuti la mattina ed è ampiamente compensato dalla comodità di avere i cassonetti a pochi passi.

From the moment we arrived, Anna and Babis made us feel instantly at home with their homebaked biscuits, marmalade and wine. The Amalia Beach House is charming, comfortable, and perfectly located right on Kokkari Beach with a lovely window seaview. Restaurants, cafés, the old town, the harbour, a bakery, and a handy mini market are all just a short stroll away.We loved stepping straight across the road onto the beach and wandering to the harbour for those beautiful Kokkari sunsets. Quiet moments in the yard under the fruit tree, with the sea breeze drifting through, made it feel like our own little haven.Fantastic location - we can’t wait to come back!

The only small thing we didn’t love was the shower curtain - if it wasn’t tucked in just right, a bit of water would end up on the floor

As a traveler with mobility issues it’s often difficult to find suitable accommodation. Amalia beach apartment is superb single storey open plan accommodation with just a small step at the entrance gate and a small step into the shower room. I walk with a wheeled walker and managed well. Very comfortable and well equipped, there is every amenity you could possibly need and lots of lovely treats including ready to eat apricots from Anna’s own garden. I thoroughly enjoyed spending time in the good sized private garden which benefits from the sea breeze and the sound of the waves. Anna is a wonderful host and she will go out of her way to ensure your stay is comfortable.

Nothing, everything was first rate.

My second visit. Anna and Babis were perfect owners for me. Homemade biscuits and jam. 100m to sea. Plenty of eaying places close by but i ate using the back garden that comes with Amalia. Nice sea breezes and listening to the waves.
