Lovely. Would possibly stay again but a bit expensive for the set up. the two storey properties maybe different

Lovely quiet, pretty location. Great heaters if needed in all rooms. Lovely hot water in kitchen area Good WiFi Smart tv facilities. No bother from owners. Very kind people. Community fireplace

A few things missing from the property…… Bath mat Some sort of table or drawers in bedroom Now where to hang a towel. A hook on a door or something would be helpful. No shower instructions.water seemed hot but lasted 1 min and didn’t drain quick enough. Hot water tap in bathroom wouldn’t turn on. No cooking facilities for a self catering property.

I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding our recent stay at your property, where we booked 5 chalets as a family group. My family stayed in Chalet 13, and the experience was extremely disappointing due to the poor condition and lack of cleanliness. The chalet was filthy, with dust and cobwebs everywhere, including behind the curtains in all bedrooms. The bathroom smelled strongly of urine, and the toilet was in a filthy condition. There was a leak from the waste pipe, resulting in soggy floors. When my son dropped the remote into the sofa, we lifted the cushions and found foreign coins, nappy rash cream, and other debris, indicating the furniture had not been cleaned in a long time. In addition, my brother and his family stayed in Chalet 12, where they had to bleach the kitchen and clean the kettle before they could unpack.

Pleasantly surprised by an emergency booking.

Our previous booking was cancelled at the last minute, so this was very much a panic booking. However, I think the lodge was a much better fit for us, lovely location, I can't believe how close to Port Talbot this tranquil spot was. Convenient for the motorway, but far enough away to feel like you were in the middle of the countryside. The facilities were as expected, and met our requirements. We wish we had had time to pop into the bar, but we're visiting family in Swansea, so it didn't happen. I would definitely book here again.

It was convenient for what we needed. Wouldn't stay there otherwise.

Unfortunately the lodge was not very clean with cobwebs everywhere, carpets in the bedroom hadn't been hoovered, and the toilet wasn't very clean. We had to ask for toilet roll when we arrived as there wasn't any. The shower door didn't close properly and the shower couldn't be angled so just shot water above your head. The toilet roll holder was hanging off the wall. There were no plates at all in the kitchen, the bowls were crazy small and only had teaspoons, no proper spoons. Just very disappointing for what we'd paid when the basics weren't done. The whole place just felt neglected.

Lovely setting,pretty surroundings, great walks locally.

Fridge and shower wasn’t the best, fridge had something that had tipped and not cleaned up, and mould in shower, but as for the rest can’t complain, bedding was fresh and overall place was tidy. Also though could have done with a coffee cup went without my cuppa. Nice touch the coffee tea sugar was there but had I known would have brought a mug.
