We had a lovely time at the property. Steve, the owner, was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Everything that we needed was in there and Steve was happy to help with recommendations of places to eat etc. We couldn't ask for anything more and can't recommend this stay highly enough. Superb.

We booked a last minute short stay at The Annexe which is in a beautiful location with easy access to all of the best beaches. Steve the host is very welcoming with lots of good suggestions of where to visit and eat The annexe is very comfortable with everything provided for a relaxing break. Steve is a very welcoming, helpful, and endlessly knowledgeable host. The annexe is perfect for 2 adults and a dog - out in the countryside but just a few minutes drive to the best of the Gower's dog-friendly beaches. And back at the annexe there are Steve's 2 dogs to play with in the very large garden!

The annexe had everything you needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The host (Steve) was very friendly and helpful. The views from the annexe over the Gower countryside was stunning, and its location so close to Rhossili Bay and its excellent beach was a real bonus.

We stayed as a couple for a long weekend with our dog. We would not hesitate to recommend the Annex for yo ur next holiday on the Gower. The location is perfect - so close to Rhosili Bay and Steve is so friendly and helpful in offering suggestions on things to do and see. We can’t wait to return!

Perfect base to visit Gower area. Accommodation was excellent with everything you needed. Steve was on hand to help with any questions and the welcome gift of chocolates and red wine was much appreciated…& enjoyed. Would thoroughly recommend.

Very clean and comfortable accommodation. The host made us and our elderly dog very welcome, milk, wine and chocolate waiting for us so just perfect. Excellent location, nothing very far away. Will definitely be staying here again.

This annexe is a lovely property that is fully equipped -we have already recommended it to a friend. It is not only human friendly but very dog friendly-the host has beautiful dogs himself that played with our terrier and made him feel welcome. The host is generous and would do anything to help and left a lovely welcome ‘goody bag’. It is within minutes of the best beaches in Wales-you will not be disappointed with your stay! You will not regret staying here!

We loved everything about The Annex, it was immaculate, much bigger than I expected and so homely with everything you needed and more. The views from the Annex were amazing and with so many great places to visit right on the doorstep, this was the perfect place for us. The wine & chocolates were a lovely touch too. Steve was a great host, very friendly and always on hand if we needed anything. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this beautiful home to anybody.

Fabulous property with plenty of space for a couple. Comfortable and with all facilities needed. Welcoming and helpful owner, who’s happy to point you in the direction of a good walk, pub or restaurant. Location is ideal for exploring the area. 15 minute walk across fields to the Coast Path. 5 minute drive to Rossili. 10 - 30 minute drive to all main Gower beaches / walks / Mumbles. Fabulous.

Charming cottage, with a lovely sleeping room, a well equiped kitchen and cosy living room. The view from the terrace is stunning. Steve is the most caring landlord we have met so far. I injured my food and thanks to Steve‘s bandages and crutches we nevertheless could explore the beautiful beaches.

Great accommodation in a beautiful location

We had a fantastic week in the Annex. Nice and spacious with a great kitchen. Steve is a great host and helped us settle in quickly. The location is ideal with a lovely walk down to the coast path not far from the door. The shop 1 mile away is well stocked and handy as there are no supermarkets in the area. Can also recommend the King Arthur Hotel a short drive away. It's a shame that the patio furniture had not arrived for our stay as we had lovely weather and it would have been nice to end the day admiring the views from outside but hopefully this will be resolved soon. Can't wait to hopefully return next year.

The property is comfortable and as described. The main purpose of my holiday was walking and this property is ideally situated for this being within easy reach of all areas of the Gower. The property is located set back away from a 'B' road that makes for easy travel to other parts of the Gower, I mention this because having experienced many of the single lane roads (with passing places) in the area I was glad I was not having to negotiate these every time I left/returned to my holiday cottage. It is also on a bus route. It is not within walking distance of a village so for those who like to walk to a local pub this may not be ideal, but for me it was not an issue. Steve, the property manager, was very welcoming and readily available to be of assistance when/if required. I would definitely recommend the annex as a base to explore the Gower from.

The property was lovely, modern and in a beautiful location. It is ideal for 2 adults. The owner was friendly and informative and was able to give good advice about local beaches and eateries. Minor inconvenience was having to travel with our own duvet, pillows and towels, a bigger problem if you are using public transport or in a Smart car.

Better than images on website -very spacious. High quality finish and everything provided. Superb views over fields. Quite location. All best beaches within walking distance or up to 20 minute drive. Need to drive to nearest pub. Would really recommend and will book with this owner again.

Great location, great views from the annexe over the surrounding countryside, the paddock with horses, chickens, dogs and cats, the owners Steve and Jeanette are very accommodating and the annexe spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Pylewell is a great location for a Gower coastal walk, spectacular views out to sea and beyond, Rhossili with its four Miles of sandy beach is one of the most breathtaking places to visit in Britain, recommended.

Lovely annex in a beautiful part of the Gower with a very friendly host

Loved our stay here, Steve our host was very friendly, he gave us lots of recommendations and even washed our dog towels for us. The annex was spacious and had everything we needed. The location is great, a 5 min drive to Rhossili, a 2 min drive to the nearest shop and a 15 min walk to the coastal path. Only watch out is that if you're planning on bringing a dog there are free-roaming chickens, sheep and horses in the next door field but turned out to be a great training experience for our young dog.
