Absolutely Perfect

This modern townhouse is situated on a nice housing estate, parking is immediately outside the front door, the house itself is in great decorative order, clean and comfortable with loads of facilities, even a small garden with table and chairs.

I can’t think of anything I didn’t like about the property but bring your own tea/coffee/milk for a warm drink.

A lovely home.

This house is very clean and spacious. There are 2.5 bathrooms and the lounge and kitchen are very well equipped. Communication with Chris, the owner, was quick and helpful. We had a lovely stay.

Only one shower, took us a while to find basic things like tea towels and our correct parking space (perhaps include that in your house booklet)? Bunk bed mattress quite thin and some blankets for the lovely settee would have been great.

Not good! The landlord threatened to report us to the police. Be sure to read the full review! We were dissatisfied with a few things and communicated this to the landlord. At the same time, we wanted a refund for the reasons listed below. We gave the landlord the opportunity to pay compensation for the verifiable (photos) defects, and in return we would not give a bad review, or any review at all. He then accused us of blackmail, filed a complaint with Booking about inappropriate behaviour and allegedly reported us to the police. Just imagine, you point out defects to the landlord, ask for compensation, and the landlord wants to report you to the police. The landlord didn't even respond to the defects we described or our email – no contact, no apology, no conversation. I have never experienced anything like this before. I then contacted Booking with my complaint, they checked the photos and came to the conclusion that my complaint was justified and eligible for a refund. Booking paid me compensation, but the landlord refused and was obstructive. This review is a result of the landlord's very unprofessional and almost rude behaviour.

Here are the details of our complaint. We sent it to the landlord in a very friendly email: The house was mostly fine, but we had a few criticisms: the garden was unusable because some of the furniture was broken, dirty or not set up (it was dirty and piled up under a table). Weeds, including nettles, were growing all over the path. The windows on the garden side were dirty and full of cobwebs. The kitchen was unhygienic, the surfaces and dishes were sticky and dirty. We had to wash many things before we could use them. The oven, toaster and some of the cupboards inside were very dirty. The grouting in the shower upstairs was affected by a few patches of mould. The issue could have been resolved 100% between us, but the landlord was not willing to do so. This is completely incomprehensible to me, but it is the landlord's own fault. Booking encouraged me to submit a review at my own discretion, as this also serves to inform future tenants. It's crazy how they try to intimidate tenants here (reporting them to the police for extortion).

Excellent choice for Family

It looks small from the outside but it’s like a Tatdis inside, lots of space, 3 Bathrooms, parking right outside and was very very clean. Every amenity you might need is there, washing machine, dishwasher and a PS4 games console. Even tea and sugar !

Nice house, felt homely, clean enough. Bunkbeds not particularly suitable for kids, had to do a lot of work stuffing cushions and pillows down the big gaps (one mattress too small for frame) to make it safe. Socket close to pillow on lower bunk - stuff of nightmares for parents.

Perfect location for Ffos Las Racecourse

Another great stay at this beautiful townhouse. Perfect location if you're attending Ffos Las Racecourse (only 5 minute walk away) and the host was great and even allowed us to leave our vehicle on the drive when we arrived before the check-in time. Second time staying here and will definitely book again in future when attending Ffos Las races. Thanks again!

The property is clean, the facilities are awesome. Very cosy for a family. My kids wanted to come back in the future to stay in the attic.

If i would say, it will be the tv remote is not functioning and the board games and the ps4 is not working. Too bad.

Cute house. Has almost everything you need. Good WiFi. Quiet. Nice garden. Clean. Has a good feeling about it..

The toilets/bathroom had no hanging facility, one could not hang clothes and used towels. There are no face/hand towels, only big bath towels.

Perfect cosy home from home!

The house was perfect - the lounge was full of games and things to keep my 3yr old entertained. TV had Disney+ and Netflix etc. Kitchen was perfect size and very clean. Bunk beds in the kids room meant my son wanted to sleep in both - he was super excited. Overall lovely house in a quiet but safe location.

As the title said cosy and warm house in a quiet spot on housing estate. great central location for getting around and exploring the area. estate on a hilltop overlooking the race course and good walks into a nature park from the house.
