Love the location and the rooms at the back so you could come and go as you please especially with a dog so not to disturb other guests. All the staff were very kind, helpful and friendly.
Could offer more of options for cooked breakfast but that’s only me so not really a complaint

The location is perfect and the room was comfortable
The staff in the bar area were very unhelpful and one seemed more interested in chatting to the locals , there was a very musty smell where we were sat at table 5 like something damp had been left for a while, the serving staff need to be taught manners and table etiquette. There was a large hole in our bedding, there was no blind to cover the glass door panel so the room was lit up all night. We stayed last year and our stay was perfect but sadly after this we won't be staying again

Lovely staff, comfortable rooms and good location for our journey to Cornwall.
Food was lovely 😋
Rooms could benefit from a refresh makeover, but it was still clean and won't stop me from staying here in the future.

Out in the country.
I thought it would be a lovely place away from traffic and the town for a nice quiet night. I was woken up at 6am by a bunch of people gathering outside for a smoke. This kept me awake then for ages so I had no choice but to get up. Not what I wanted after a lovely family wedding a few miles away the day before.
